    I hope people actually go to the games. Last time the Brewers gave away tickets like this Miller Park was barely half full.

    He'll be up with the big league team next year. He won't be playing second base though. CC will put him at first or CF or Catcher.

    They also play each other 6 times. So we are guaranteed to make up ground on one of them 6 times. We need to start rooting against the Marlins now. Only a game behind us.

    Sort of. It means they need to make a decision on him next spring. Can't just option him to AAA and keep him as insurance. If he still had an option or two left it wouldn't be a huge deal. Right but the starting 5 are probably set with Nelson, Davies, Anderson, Woodruff and Garza. Suter would be a good 6th in the minors. Who knows if they give Hader a shot at the rotation too. Seems like Junior is redundant to me.

    well, guerra may still be recalled, but it will be after the expense of burning his final option. he's pitching today in colorado springs and has exceeded 20 days optioned to the minor leagues. Is that a big concern on a 32 year old pitcher with 4 good months in the bigs?

    If we would have had a few more 100 loss season we might have gotten rid of Bando a lot quicker.

    No, maybe like a media boycott coupled with some sort of vow of silence in the clubhose. Expending too much energy socializing. Save everything for the game. Probably end the post home run celebrations too. Draining vital juices.

    Uh, you did see Perez's double error last night right? If that wasn't panic I don't know what panic is. I think the line should be more like "Remember the Brewers rarely panic like you do."

    Haha. If you say so. 82 pitches and a bad bullpen. Essentially you are saying in order to win our starters have to throw a CG just about every game. That does not seem like a recipe for success to me. If the bullpen can't throw 2 innings without giving up a 2 run lead than we don't deserve to win or make the playoffs.

    Lots of rockets at guys tonight by both teams. Take the 7 shutout and turn it over to the pen. Trust you can get through one inning to get to your all star closer.

    Saw this in a tweet Cordell in Colorado Springs: 1.059 OPS Cordell not in Colorado Springs: .673 OPS So given our depth in the OF and that Miller Park is not one mile above sea level I have absolutely no problem with the trade.

    But we also don't have to beat the cubs to get into the playoffs. Can still make it as a wild card. D-backs and Rockies have to slug it out against each other and the Dodgers. We can turn it around still. Plenty of season left.

    DS on his way to winning another trade. How long until the league figures out not to trade with him? He might just have to throw in a stinker every 10 trades to sandbag a little.

    Colorado getting smoked tonight. Want to win the division but the wild card is looking like a reasonable fall back position now.
