    I'm about as big of a Barry-hater as anyone, but I really think this is much ado about nothing. He was joking around. I'm more stunned that Giants fans still cheer him like crazy, even after every trace of him has been removed from AT&T/PacBell/CandleStick/Whatever.

    I think there's just more to talk about when things are going wrong. I suppose we could start threads like "Manny Parra: Yay!", but I guess it's always more interesting to theorize about solutions to the negative, than just applaud the positive. As far as the IGT's go, yeah, I'm very disappointed that they've become mini-venting threads. I think there are a few people who only come in to complain, and rarely praise anything, as if winning happened purely by luck... It is too bad that those people can tend to dominate the conversation though.

    Who exactly are you calling out? I think the vast majority of people here aren't ledge-jumpers. Yeah, you sometimes hear it around the "water cooler", but frankly, that attitude won't change until the Brewers at least make the playoffs.

    My wife spent much of her childhood raising them, and she enjoyed it very much. We have one pet rabbit in the house now. We would have litter-trained her, but she made it a habit of eating cords.

    I've had a problem that was similar to that before. After lifting the garbage "funny" usually ... Hurt like heck for a day or two, and felt like I couldn't breathe. A couple of days of muscle relaxers and vikes, and I was good as new... doctor said it was just a muscle strain. If someone as out of shape as me gets on track in a couple of days, I don't see Braun being out of games for more than a couple of days.

    I'm planning on giving the programming behind the P50 an hoverhaul this offseason... including how acquired, and this year's stats as well as some other things.

    What I wouldn't mind seeing is Branyan in LF to give Braun another day of rest with the RHP starting. Since it sounds like he was a little banged up before the game yesterday, it seems like one of those things you'd want to nip in the bud against the worst team in the NL.

    If you can't find one, you could probably just buy a men's one and get it tailored.

    It's your classic case of someone finds the right combination and puts it together, much like Turnbow did for us for a while. I'm not wishing it Balfour or anything, but I really wouldn't be shocked if he ends up falling apart again. TB will just have to ride him until he chokes, much like we did with Turnbow. And if he ends up being solid from here on out, it's a classic case of lightning in a bottle. The Brewers have done this on more than one occasion, so I guess I don't feel that bad about letting Balfour go.
