    Brantley = Santo Light

    In that case, McClung would probably be the odd-man out, since he's the long-man. As far as options go, I believe he has one left.

    I'm disrespectful to dirt! Can you see I am serious! Get out of my way, all of you! This is no place for loafers. Join me or die. Can you do any less? For lucky best wash, use Mr. Sparkle.

    It's probably time for Bush to get traded or bumped to the pen. I feel more confident with Sheets/Yo/Soup/CV/Parra, and I'm actually ok with having Narveson as the backup fifth starter, if need be. Of course, Bush will probably dazzle in his next start, and will then go on to stink another two up. I think we got value from him... 30+ starts each of the past two years, but it's probably time to part ways.

    I'll vent my first frustration about Yost leaving Bushy in. Yeah, his pitch count wasn't up high yet, but he just didn't have it today. That's why you have your long-man, Ned. 2 out of 3 ain't bad, but a sweep would have been much nicer.

    The Lost Highway .. I still don't get it. Maybe it just sucks.

    I would have recommended that you used the search box feature... No huge deal, but in the future, a search for "thyroid" would have given you matches.

    I'm surprised it didn't return as "Happy Panty Fun Party" to be honest.... English/Japanese conversions are very inexact, to say the least.

    I guess I never understand the argument about it "not being our money". Of course it's not, but realistically, there's only a certain budget, and if he spends it foolishly, it's bad news. Right?

    That's strange ... What city are you actually in? I have you coming up as unknown, USA.

    He's a clear upgrade over Hall I think when you add everything up. Hard not to like a natural 3B with a perennial .900+ OPS. However, I don't like his style at all. If he was on the team, I'd probably have a hard time really getting behind him... Injuries are also a small concern.

    Oh, I forgot to mention that my wife worked with Bill Schroeder's daughter Lindsay over at V Richard's.

    I see we have a lot of new arrivals this week, coinciding with the start of the season. I'd just like to welcome all of the newcomers, and let you know that your contributions in threads are anticipated by the staff. Looking at some of the application messages, I see we have some people who clearly understand what we're about, and that's awesome. To everyone else, I'd just say that I'm excited about another season here at Brewerfan.net. We'll be doing our annual FanFest get together at some point, as well as I'm sure some more casual get-togethers to catch some away games. Go Brewers!.. and I'm looking very forward to enjoying the season with the rest of you.

    I was actually born in Racine, and lived there for a year I believe (that portion of my life is a bit fuzzy). Jill (Marcus's wife) used to babysit me, and we spent a ton of time at their house until I left for college. He and his wife do a lot of charity events, and they're deeply involved with their church. They're just a terrific family.

    I generally watch away games at home so I can be in the chat room (yes, I know I'm a dork). However, once a month we've (brewerfan) tried to get together to watch an away game at Long Wong's. I like it quite a bit... We're going to have to re-institute the monthly brewerfan.net game watchings...

    My mom's best friend's daughter is the wife of Marcus Hanel... I see him probably once every other year. He's a real good guy.

    I have a bunch of .wmv files that I'd like to burn to DVD(s). If possible, I'd like to create a fancy DVD Title Menu to slap on the front of it as well. I'd like to find a free one, but if it was a commercial one that's really slick, I wouldn't mind paying for it. Anyone have any experience in this area?

    Are you talking about feeds for games, or just MLB home plate? XM still won't be broadcasting the actual games online.

    Some pretty great news for XM subscribers who listen to XM online via the web.... They've finally added channel 175 to the online version.
