  1. I wonder if the realtor mentioned this at the open house?
  2. Gagne, Sheets and Weeks, if those guys can stay healthy, it makes all the difference for this team.
  3. This is like a Yankees-Mets World Series....nobody knows who to hate.
  4. I like him because he openly states that he's ready to pay his players as they work into and out of the arbitration process. He's a man who understands how money works, and isn't trying to keep all of it for himself while crying poor.
  5. The one thing you must do in Vegas is....tell the cabbie NO when they ask if it's ok if they take the freeway. After that, several clients told me The Beatles show is awesome.
  6. He's always like that, he's had some sort of issue with Milwaukee for a long time. I don't listen to the man, he was a mediocre pitcher who had one great year, he is a mediocre announcer, who got to sit next to a fan favorite for years. I like his style as an announcer, but he's often short on substance.
  7. I just now got an email telling me I've been selected, I can purchase tickets on Wednesday, if I choose.
  8. Chris Capuano, second half of 06 - August 11- September 6, 6 starts, 9 ER total - outstanding. Final four starts - 22 ER. He didn't have a bad second half, he had a terrible finish. 2007 - Through 7 starts, Cappy is 5-0 with a 2.31 ERA. From that point on, he gives up 5 or more ER 7 times, he gives up 3 or fewer ER 4 times. If some other team released this player, this board would be filled with people pushing for the Brewers to claim him. Capuano shouldn't be counted on to be the #2 starter the way he once was, but there's no reason to simply dump him at this point.
  9. It's a bummer, but not such a big deal if they handle this right, this should only knock out his first 2-3 starts, I'm just glad this didn't happen later.
  10. If there's any doubt at all, scope that knee right now. The last thing they need to do is to have him favoring one side, putting stress on his shoulder - fix it now!
  11. They tried to hold a party for all the season ticket holders tonight, but the guy was out of town.
  12. Those directions were a cut and paste from an email, sorry, I don't know much about Wyoming geography. That's one incredible photo, that cat's eyes are amazing.
  13. Can you see him now?
  14. Thank GOD for the plate glass in the door! And, wouldn't this mess up your whole night if you were to take out the trash at the wrong time? These are from a guy out at Rock Springs, Wy . The pictures were taken from his kitchen onto his patio deck. The critter was watching his grandkids playing on the kitchen floor! Rock Springs is about 100 miles south of Pinedale, Wyoming and 100 miles east of Rawlins... http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa319/toddecopp/cougarthroughwindwo.jpg
  15. I was going to whine on and on about how sick I am right now, but then I remembered, people who do that, bug me. So now, that bugs me, it's going to be a long day.
  16. Now I have a wicked bad cold. Never another dime for United Airlines, even if I have to walk.
  17. Trust me, the people who work in circulation for Madison Newspapers Inc, are about to throw a month-long party.
  18. I hate United. Full details in "What's Bugging You"....this isn't the first time, but it is the worst time.
  19. I didn't notice that Hawing, but I guess I've given my answer.
  20. OK, I'm home, let's see..... Flight delayed going to Vegas, bag lost, flight delayed returning from Vegas, to allow late arriving passengers to board, missed connecting flight in Denver, was told "We can't hold a plane for late arrivals", dumped in a Roach Motel for the night, shower broken, voucher for "free dinner" is for less money than anything on the menu at the place United dumped us at, rerouted through O'Hare, "Sorry Sir, we have no record that y0u're on this flight", flight delayed from O'Hare, gate changed twice, "Sir, you're not checked in", (which of course I was), "I'm sorry, we gave your seat away, but if you go back and check in again, we'll see what we can do." Unbelievable, I'll never give them another dime.
  21. I'll never fly United Airlines again. Full-blown rant coming later, if I ever get home. Denver is nice, just not when you aren't supposed to be there.
  22. The funny part is, they like the Brewers' pitching depth, and in listing off all of the options, they forgot Capuano. Here's to the improved defense, the improved bullpen depth, and the lllllooooonnnnnnggggg overdue run of health and good luck! http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/articles/2008/02/03/sticking_to_his_young_guns/?page=5
  23. The gap in the two rankings for Michael Brantley caught my eye.
  24. John Kerry, as King Arthur... http://blutube.policeone.com/Clip.aspx?key=1C3CD3C2C0980FA5
  25. As a group, I think the new bullpen guys are positioned to make a big difference, but the question is about one individual, so the answer has to be Cameron. The team defense was a major problem last year, his acquisition obviously makes the CF position better in that regard, but it also gave Hall and Braun the ability to play where they can do the most good defensively as well.
