  1. They had some sort of shift going where Weeks was playing on the 3b side of second. Weeks was way out of position for the turn. Initially I thought the same thing but after seeing the replay it was clear that was his only option.
  2. Thank you sir for years of service. You were one of my recent favorites. Please don't end up with the Cubs!!
  3. One word. "Thermocoupler" Google replacing it. Im 99.9999% sure of it.
  4. I'm never gonna let you go. Gonna hold you in my arms forever.
  5. I thought I remember "Gramps" saying a few days ago that Edmonds(Diego) would get this start because he has a history of hitting the tar out of Cook.
  6. This thread is starting to remind me of the many, many Russel Branyan threads. It made me giggle.
  7. Thanks for all of the advice. We ended up meeting last friday and came to the conclusion that we would file for divorce sometime soon, not have much contact and see where we are later on. Man this is tough. We both love each other. It's just that some stuff has festered for too long, which makes it that much harder. I have to respect her decision. I maybe naive but we've decided to file together and split everything down the middle. At first she was offering me alot more of the assets. Now after the weekend she's hinting that it might not be that fair, which I can respect. I was thinking that all along. For anyone who may go through this at any time in the future, all I can say is be prepared. I thought i'd been through a lot in my life but I've never felt these kinds of emotions. I don't think I've ever cried so much in my life. I'm not embarrassed to say it. From what I've read, a person has to embrace it and let all of your emotions out. My friends have been life savers. I never realized how a simple email or call everyday from one friend could support you so much. Madscientist, thank you for the advice on the support group. I'd never thought of that.
  8. Hey folks Been awhile since i've been around here. Does anyone here have any advice on getting a divorce? This is not something that I want but I've been making her unhappy for a while now. I guess I just didn't see it and when I tried to change it was too late. Right now she's angry with me. Moved out and avoiding me. I told her that i can accept that and that she needs to yell, scream and vent at me about how I hurt her. I love her so much and if we are going to get divorced I would like her to deal with it and be healthy. I know she loves me, she's just really hurt. So as of now I'm giving her space and waiting. I've come to expect that this is more than likely over, so i've started my grieving process. Thanks in advance. I've always been amazed at what a broad group of people there are on this board.
  9. I'm typing this on my phone so I'll keep it short. We have two dogs, marley and Seaver. Marley has had both knees replaced to the tune of around five grand. Seaver has been better, he's only needed a thousand dollar emergency surgery for a branch stuck in his chest. My wife and I are not that well off by any means but I'd spend it again for them. My dogs are much smarter than me. Oh ya, when we named Marley we thought we had a very original name. Then that stupid book and movie came out. That's Marley in my avatar pic copiloting the boat.
  10. Yes, I'll admit it. I too sing karaoke. I mainly stick to "Is she really going out with him" by Joe Jackson and "Plush" by STP. My wifes friend and I usually sing either "Summer Lovin" or "Your the one that i want" from Grease. One time i tried to belt out "Your Love" by The Outfield, I had a great time singing it but I shudder at what i sounded like.
  11. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Spectacular wootoff is happening. Link. Edit: Added link, increased flair.
  12. Go to Gander Mountain or Scheels to start out looking. Talk to the sales guy and let him know what your looking for. Normally those two places have people working there that are sportsman and have used the equipment.
  13. Ok guys. I'm going to try to give you what limited information I have. The Active 33: For what your going to use it for, a Remington 870 that only shoots 2 3/4" inch shells would last you a lifetime. I say the 2 3/4" chamber just cause it will more than likely be cheaper than something that shoots 3" or 3 1/2" shells. fortheloveofweeks: When it comes to rifles there are so many intangables that come into play. IE: Will you sit or walk? Will you ever hunt anything bigger than a whitetail? I'm going to assume that your walking alot and will mainly be hunting whitetails with it for most of your life. If your looking for a nice light rifle, look for something with a synthetic stock. Some calibers i would consider are .270, .280 or 30.06. Also if your walking make sure you have open sites on your rifle. As to where to find good used guns, check around. Gander mountain, Scheels or your local hardware store. Many small towns have little gun shops that will sell other peoples guns on consignment. My local gun shop is a sewing/gun shop. Classified ads in the paper are good to check also. If you find something and your not sure feel free to pm me.
  14. Pitchleague Thats what i love about living in Wisconsin. When i first read the title i didn't think twice. I don't think you offended anyone.
  15. First things first. What will you primarily be hunting with this shotgun? I have an old 870 wingmaster that works great for upland bird hunting, but since it only shoots 2 3/4" shells it's not optimal for hunting turkeys or waterfowl. WalMart has been decent in the past selling Mossberg shotguns that shoot up to 3 1/2" shells.
  16. My wife and i spent our five year anniversary this year at romantic miller park. We got on tv and everything. I think you'll be hard pressed to find a game yet this year though. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
