I certainly hope StL doesn't give him what he wants. That would be horrible for the Brewers. We all know how well that worked out for Texas and ARod.

Yeah, I'm a bit surprised that there is not more chatter about this from the local beat writers. I know that there was something last week that came out (that basically said nothing), but nothing more to update? At least post something in the JSonline blog that says "still nothing new to report - everyone is being tight lipped" or something.

My son's best friend went to the game with his dad and also said the half time show was unbelievable. Of course, my son's best friend is 12, but like bucks stated, I'm sure if you were there it was much better than seeing it on TV.

I get the feeling that these negotiations (if there even are any) are going about as well as the NFL/Player's Union talks.

And Boston not improving at all? I realize they are in a tough division, but I would not be surprised if they end up with 105+ wins this year.

I would be afraid to go to a game here. This has possibly become my favorite show on TV (other than Curb Your Enthusiasm - when there are new episodes), but I wasn't that thrilled with last night's episode.

I could be wrong, but I believe within the next year there will be a new stadium approved for the A's. -
My family and I are going down to Orlando in late February. It looks like there is a shuttle launch scheduled for Feb 24th. Looking at the NASA web site it appears you can buy tickets, but the tickets are non-refundable if there is a cancellation (they are good for a later date or whenever the rescheduled launch is). I realize that you can probably see the launch without actually buying tickets, but I would imagine the "up close" view and feel of it is pretty awesome and I'm wondering of you can actually see the shuttle take off from the ground from "off-site" locations or if you just see it once it's a couple thousand feet in the air. Has anyone ever witnessed one of these? Is it worth the risk of buying tickets? How close can you get without buying tickets and do you have any hints on some good free viewing locations? It supposed to go from launch pad 39A if that's any help.

Thanks for the advice. I was going to call the police last night, but I was trying to play down the event as much as possible because my son was a bit freaked out. I called this morning and reported it. Don't think I'll go as far as setting up fake security cameras, but I was thinking of putting a web cam in one of our upstairs windows. Can you get wireless web cams? I'm not even sure how they work. How much will it record? I'm assuming you can set up some sort of "loop" system. Do they still work when the computer goes into sleep mode? We have 1 lap top and 1 desk top and the desk top is a bit outdated and slow.

Capuano will not return to Milwaukee

So, my wife and my son are coming home from dropping one of his friends off at his house that is in our neighborhood. She was making a left hand turn and as she was partly in the intersection she noticed another car coming at her that she didn't see prior to her turn, partially because of the high snow banks. So, she decided to floor it to get through the intersection and avoid an accident. The car stopped and turned and followed her to our house. When my son got out of the car, the "chasing" car stopped and a young guy yelled out the window "I know where you live and I'll be coming back". So, now my son is freaked out about it. I'm guessing the guy was just trying to scare us, but who knows. Now I gotta wonder if at some point he'll come back and egg our house, break a window, some other sort of vandalism..just because of a driving "error". I don't have a license plate or very good description of the car or the driver.

I don't get the whole "gorilla" thing. She loves dressing up as a gorilla?? Is it some sort of promotional thing your company does or is this just some random thing she does? Does gorilla have another meaning that I'm not aware of?

I know some eyes will roll at this, but I can't believe Bon Jovi has not been one of the half time shows. I think they would be a "popular" and safe choice. I don't really like or hate them (never purchased any of their CDs or songs), but I believe they were the top grossing concert performers of 2010.

To each there own, I guess. To me, that was one of the better ads. I also like the the one of the guy sending flowers that tells the girl she has a nice rack and the Richard Lewis/Rosanne ads.

Someone put a Packer hat and scarf on the Fonz statue that's on the riverwalk downtown.

Jen Lada's (Fox 6 Milwaukee) ridiculously over the top comment last night that if the Packers had not won it would have been "the worst disaster in the world".
