  1. So, my son gets his PS3 tomorrow for his birthday. He has no idea and will be unbelievably surprised. I think he think's he getting a couple of PS2 games or a gift certificate or something like that. Anyways, about a week ago, when he was gone, I took it out and hooked it up. Everything seems to work fine. However, I was trying to connect to our wireless internet and I have a question. The way I have my wireless internet set up, not only do I need to enter the WEP key of my wireless router, but you can't get in unless I have your devices WEP Key (and maybe that's not the right word) listed on my security list. I remember doing this with my son's DS. How do I find the WEP key on a PS3? As I try to play with this and set it up, I'm sure I'm going to have more questions. The brief time I had with it, I couldn't figure out how to hit enter and continue.
  2. The condition of the Miller Park seating bowl during last nights game. In particular, the 200 level behind home plate. The seats were filthy, like someone had poured dirt on them. Not just our seats, every one of them. We got to our seats a little more than an hour before the game. We watched as people started to file in. They all had the same look of disbelief on their face about the condition of their seats. I seem to recall this same thing for the second home game of the year last year as well. The cleaning staff was still wiping down seats a half hour before the game. I don't ever seem to recall this at any other point of the season following a sell out. Even if the seats were not wiped down, I can't understand how they get so filthy. Every one of them! What were people doing on opening day? Eating dirt? Does this stuff constantly fall from the roof of Miller Park? I don't get it. On top of that, about 4 seats down from mine was what appeared to be a very large thick area of dried puke that extended under one of the seats. I found it very hard to believe that this was not cleaned up before the start of the next game.
  3. Only got to listen to it through about the 20 minute mark. Great collection of highlights. However, I'm a little bit older and the music...well, let's just say I'm not a huge fan of it. Would love to hear it with maybe some Who - Baba O'Reily or Zeppelin - Kashmir
  4. Tickets have been sold
  5. The last thing the Brewers need today is a long rain delay.
  6. Just awesome. That's my commute home from work. Hopefully it will be cleared up by then
  7. I have two tix, Sec 210, Row 9, Seats 21 and 22. $36/each (face value). Let me know if you are interested. Thanks.
  8. I wasn't online during the game yesterday and so I didn't go back and look at all the posts, so I'm not sure how much discussion there was about the strike zone. However, it seemed like Shroeder and Anderson made a big deal out of the Hall strike 3 that he complained about. From what I saw it was happining all day. Molina kept setting up outside the strike zone and on many occasions had to frame pitches from that location that were still called strikes (they should not have been strikes anyways because he was set up so far outside). It was driving me nuts.
  9. My 11 year old son was at Childrens' Hopital for about 3 days. He had an infection in his chin and it was all swollen, he looked like Jay Leno. They did some minor oral surgery and drained it out. 3 weeks and a couple of dentists appointments later they are telling us that he needs a root canal. They still have no idea what the cause of all this was, they are guessing that at some point he suffered some trauma to his mouth area. So, this is what he is doing next Wednesday (the day after his Birthday) . I hope it doesn't ruin his Easter Break.
  10. Brewdude, I sent you a message..if you are still looking.
  11. I did notice that (the inaccurate scores that momentarily showed whenever there was a score change). Also, for the first couple of innings they were not showing the bases and if anyone was on base. I also don't like it when they don't show the speed of the pitches. I could care less how it looks, just give me all the information I'm use to getting.
  12. Not that I'm a weatherman, but looking at the current weather, it does appear that the current band of rain could be over within the next 2 or 3 hours and it appears that there is a window of no rain after that.
  13. Here is the current radar. At the very least it looks like a probable delay today. http://images.yuku.com/image/gif/22a255c9557f7fd59a41a6099b535ea6373fe53.gif
  14. Agreed. It's like they look at Milwaukee and say "No, can't open there....too cold". Like they completely forget there is a dome here.
  15. So, can they take an old show and make it HD quality? For example on one of the Time Warner HD premium channels (which I don't get), I noticed that they are showing reruns of the old Hogan's Heroes all day and it states it's in HD and I'm not sure how much sense it would make to show a non HD show on an HD dedicated channel (Universal HD is the name of the channel).
  16. Why do you say this? Being a golf fan, I've seen how persistant the rain can be at the Pebble Beach event in past years. Those systems that come off the ocean at this time of year can tend to swirl around for a while. I've just always been a pesimistic person and I'm thinking they are going to have a hard time getting the game in tomorrow. I hope I'm wrong.
  17. Yeah, not to mention that it's a nice day in SF today, but tomorrow and beyond? Well, doesn't look to promising: http://www.weather.com/outlook/driving/interstate/tenday/USCA0987?from=hrly_topnav_driving
  18. I mentioned this in one of the ST in-game threads, but Riske pitched in the 2nd to last locally televised game. I watched his pitch selection closely. I think he threw something like 15-20 pitches. The speed range on all the pitches (except one that was about 80 and appeared to be a slider or breaking pitch of some kind) was between 87-89 and they were all fast balls if I'm not mistaken. He pitched again during the last televised ST game (last Tuesday?), and seemed to mix up his pitches a little better.
  19. Seriously, what was in the air in the 80's. I'm almost ashamed to say I lived during that era:
  20. What was the deal with sports teams and cheesy video's back then?
  21. A young Liam Neeson?
  22. I'm pretty sure the home team usually takes batting practice first, generally before the gates open.
  23. I'm not sure I see any great unders, but I would take the over on the Mets, Angels, Rangers, and Brewers.
  24. Why do you think this? As pretend astronaut pointed out, he had a preferred pass and they didn't have any space for him in preferred or general. (note: some posts have been edited for long or nested quotes --1992)
