  4. Speculating on Yelich being traded is just stupid.......writing click bait blog posts about it is stupid. He just signed the richest contract in Brewers history because he wanted to finish his career here.......now it might turn out like that and it might not......but they aren’t moving him after 1 bad half season coming off of 2 MVP quality years. He didn’t want an opt out ......and the Brewers gave him a no trade clause. He loves it here and the Brewers are building around him.......it’s not happening now.....and anyone with half a brain. knows it. But hey.......bloggers need clicks......so they make crap up.
  5. Lol at these clickbait articles...... https://friarsonbase.com/2021/02/24/padres-rumors-aj-preller-blockbuster-josh-hader/
  6. Tom @Haudricourt · 12s Lorenzo Cain was out on field yesterday for first time since opting out after one week last season. Counsell said he had "a big smile" on his face. "He's happy to be back," Counsell said.
  7. Looks like CC stayed in touch with Travis. The whole "hard feelings" narrative was obviously way overblown. Will Sammon @WillSammon · 3m Craig Counsell said he maintained conversations over the last year and a half with Travis Shaw. From a roster standpoint, Shaw, a LHB/3B is a good fit. And as Counsell said, "What he did last year was a fit."
  8. It has been reported multiple times that the Brewers fully expect Cain to play this season. Nothing has been mentioned or implied that he would play part if the season and then opt out. Until Cain, Stearns or CC says otherwise we should all assume he will be back full time.
  9. They signed Shaw...if they wanted Gyorko he’d already be signed and in camp.
  10. If the As put Chapman on the block there would be a bidding war that we couldn’t win. Chapman is a pipe dream.
  11. Robert Murray @ByRobertMurray · 13s Sources: Brewers in the mix for free-agent outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr.

  13. 14 seasons and you won’t forgive him because of one horrible mistake. He didn’t beat his wife......didn’t kill anyone......he had a moral lapse......that he apologized for....not only to our fan base but also to the man he wronged. He will get an ovation if he comes back.......everyone deserves a chance at redemption.......he has done everything right since that incident.
  14. Hader isn't going to be a starter....that ship has long sailed. He is exactly where he should be.
