  1. Hitting coaches are mostly scapegoats. I doubt having Narron here has much if anything to do with the struggles.
  2. It's like watching the Suppan game all over again. If you have a soft tossing journyman the crew will make them look like Greg Maddox......
  3. Yo is just driving me nuts. Why is he nibbling so much and getting behind on a team that you know wants to take pitches? This ump has had a pretty tight zone but he seems to have fallen in love with his breaking ball. It's almost like the Mets scouting report is if he throws you a curve ball don't swing because he almost never throws it for a strike.
  4. So if pounding him inside is the way to pitch Braun why would it matter who is hitting behind him? Were they afraid of hitting him ahead of Fielder so they didn't pitch him inside? So in trying to avoid hitting him you pitch him in a less effective way which allows him to put up monster numbers accross the board? Makes little sense to me......he killed them last year when they didn't pound him inside.....Prince or no Prince they should have pitched him there if they honestly feel its the best way to get him out even if they plunked him once in awhile in front of Fielder.
  5. No reason not to keep Luc in the 2 hole at least until Rickie shows some signs of life
  6. Bosio threw a no hitter for us? lol IIRC he threw one but it sure wasn't as a brewer
  7. I'll take the under on Rickie's Zips projection. zips is wrong just as often as its right.....guys have bad years and good years. Until Weeks shows signs of breaking out of this funk (that goes all the way back to last year) I'd move him down and give him a few days off from time to time.
  8. http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20120509&content_id=30815108&notebook_id=30815282&vkey=notebook_mil&c_id=mil "Some moves are not made, Roenicke said, for reasons he cannot share." So it's top secret why one person can't hit higher in the order?
  9. I was wondering the same thing about Henderson. He is up to 16 scoreless innings in a row now....it's not like we have a bunch of Chapmans out there......
  10. Brewers just find ways to lose this season. Beautiful start by Greinke wasted. Cueto is tough but when you are struggling and your starter gives you 8 shutout innings you have to find a way to win the game. Ax sure does seem to struggle when he isn't protecting a lead although I know those hits today weren't exactly smoked.....
  11. A ball that barely got over weeks glove and wasn't hit very hard goes into right center and they somehow allowed owed Stubbs to score all the way from first without a throw......and no he wasn't running on the pitch...
  12. The just gave a peak into the game on MLB.tv...hopefully they keep showing it...Man what an effort by Greinke today. Amazing how dominant he has been at home compared to the road.
  13. When you watch Rickie it sure seems like he is taking strikes and swinging at balls.....sure signs of a guy who is pressing. You can tell by his body language how bad he feels about how he is hitting. Give the guy a break Ron....it can't hurt.
  14. He is in the lineup again today. Why not give Green the start and give Rickie a couple of days to relax a little? The time to give somebody a day off is when they are struggling not when they hot. Come on Ron....be a manager.....sit him down even if he wants to play.
  15. Rickie and Corey both need a day off badly. Cueto going tomorrow is great time for it.
  16. I agree wioth those that have noticed him being way off balance when ever he swings. Rickie has never had what anyone would call a pretty swing but he seems to be just lunging at everything. He is obviously pressing and could use a few days off.
  17. Hart has no range either. Both of the hits in this inning were in the air a long time and nobody was close to catching them.
  18. How can a whole team go into a prolonged slump at the same time? I mean outside of Braun and the catcher position it has been mediocre to brutal for most of the season in CF, 2nd, 3rd, 1st, and SS. Even Hart is in one of his cold streaks at the wrong time.
