"They only have one lefty reliever, Paterson and so wanted to save him for Fielder" If Fielder bats in that inning the game is already over. I understand they didn't want to burn their lefty in the 6th but the game dictated it. IMO I suppose he could have been worried about bringing in the lefty and then having RR go to Casey but if your Gibson aren't you ok with that matchup with the way CM has been swinging it?
Not to bring up a negative subject....but did you see the masterpiece that Larussa painted last night? Used his whole pen to give his team a chance to win a game that had to be won. I don't like the guy either but considering the injuries that they had he should be in the running for MOY for getting them to the playoffs.
Loved the Yount interview during the game. This isn't word for word but you get the idea..... Female reporter "Robin....you played 20 years in Milwaukee and had a Hall of fame career.....but you also spent 2 years as a coach for the Diamondbacks.....this must be hard for you?" Robin...."Its really not that hard......." it was really funny.......his tone of voice was like "Are you kidding?"
I not its not a big deal but Greinke not being there is disappointing. I know he hates media/fan events but come on.....show up and be there with the rest of the team. Or was he there and just wasn't introduced?
Kennedy worries me in Game 1. The guy has been just about unbeatable and if you don't win game 1 then you need to win 3 out of the next 4(2 of them on the road).
@AdamMcCalvy Adam McCalvy Working on story about #Brewers pitching plan. Sounds like door is open for Greinke to talk himself into Game 2. Story coming to Brewers.com 12 minutes ago via web Favorite Retweet Reply
