He had a poor outing yesterday…….i don’t think they trust him yet……and they have other bullpen guys that are pitching pretty well. Yoho I can certainly see but no reason to push Miz…..we have good leverage guys in Mears, Koenig, and Uribe. Hudson,Payamps and Alexander are iffy but we have guys in our current rotation that can slide in for them when Myers and Woody return. Not to.mention when Ashby and Hall are ready. -
Myers definitely closest…….i don’t think Civale or Nestor are all that close. Civale had a setback and got shutdown and Cortes just got an injection in his elbow which may or may not work.

Well Civale just had a set back and Nestor certainly isn’t got going to be ready for at least a few months after that injection so I don’t think this is telling us anything we don’t know about them. Myers will take a spot soon…….next guy up is probably Woody if things keep going well.

Yeah I assumed after Rodriguez went 5 innings last night somebody would be brought up. it will be interesting if they don’t need him in long relief the next few days if they give him Alexanders next start?
