  1. The only one I think might be is Will's in Lakeview on Racine.
  2. Has the flu and was on IV right up until tip off.
  3. MU ends the game on a 27-5 run. What a nice win. Wonder if Huggy Bear is at the bar yet?
  4. In Wisconsin, police have the right to do forced blood draws even on the first offense drunk driving. They wont hand you a needle and tell you to stick yourself with it. They will ask if you will submit to the testing. If you refuse.... 3 to 4 cops will hold you down by force. A lab tech will then draw your blood from any vein she can find. Your blood is considered evidence. As stated previously, it depends on that police department's policy when and if blood is drawn. But in Wisconsin, they can FORCE blood even the first time. They sure can. In Milwaukee they are often preformed at the Blood Center of Wisconsin on 18th and Wisconsin.
  5. I start my new job today and am pretty stoked. Bonus to the 8 minute commute to downtown too!
  6. They are all downtown. Same place. They can and will draw on the first if deemed necessary.
  7. Milwaukee County will take blood first time if needed. A friend of mine is a prosecutor and we actually were discussing this at dinner the other night.
  8. You should always refuse a breathalyzer so you give your lawyer a fighting chance in court. If you are found not guilty, you will not get any suspension of your license. You should always claim that you have an ear infection which is throwing your equalibrium off as your excuse for eratric driving. If you take the breathalyzer and fail you leave your lawyer no ammunition to use in the courtroom. In Wisconsin, the State has the right to take your blood for a blood test.
  9. I am on my way to Comet right for breakfast that will include bacon. I go every weekend at least once and I started the tradition on October 4th to gear for my first playoff game.
  10. Atmosphere - When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That S*** Gold
  11. I got a 4 pack of tickets and my 1987 Milwaukee Brewers 13-0 poster (which I have had sitting in a poster tube for 21+ years now) framed and matted. AWESOME! http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y102/muspe02/IMG_1977.jpg
  12. I am going to just shake my head and then drink a lot tonight. I swear if someone shows up at Points East Pub tonight in Yankee's hat I may shove a wing down their throat!
  13. Does Thundershonw not have the makings of the next rock hit?
  14. I think Bacco's are Vegan friendly even.

  16. I will 2nd Fanatics as the best place in the city to watch games hands down and it isn't even close. The tv's are set up like a Vegas sports book. The only bad thing is the terrible DJ who is 20 years past his prime. Zim's isn't bad either. BBC on the East Side also has all the games.
  17. I am taking a vacation day for this. Such a great sale.
  18. For editing software I have found that Picasa by Google is a great free program to use to manage all of your photos. It has more than enough editing features for your point and shoot photographer. Also is the best way to share photos if you ask me as you can download entire albums of your friends if you like, rather than just a single photo at a time.
  19. I have always had a Canon Elph and would always recommend them. Also, you can get a 2nd battery for cheap online so you can always have a fully charged battery. Also, don't let them talk to you into get an SD card at a store. You can get them extremely cheap online as well. Over a year ago I purchased a 4 GB card for $20 online. There are some great deals out there on cameras in stores right now.
  20. And I would stay away from the Pearl. They are a pain to use. The Curve is much easier and nicer in my opinion.
  21. I third the rechargeable batteries thing. I prefer it over the charger for Wii as I often have 4 people over playing and if one Wiimote dies midway through a game you are stuck. Also, as was mentioned earlier, the Wiimotes are battery hogs and I couldn't in good conscience throw that much away. I just picked up a 20 pack of rechargeable and was good to go. I also traded out some batteries in my mouse and keyboard to rechargeable now as well to help shrink my global footprint. I have had them all from Atari, NES, Genesis, N64, Playstation and PS2. Where I am in my life the Wii is the most fun since I am far from a hardcore gamer but love a few games. I love my Wii for the ease of play. Not to say all of the games are children's games, but they are the most fun games ever. Also, being able to download classic games to the Wii (old NES, SNES, N64, ect) to the system has been AWESOME!
  22. When I was laid off about 9mo ago I joined a gym and made it a big part of my routine. I would go for about 1.5-2hrs a day, sometimes broken up into two 1 hr sessions. It is great to get out of the house and do something that is good for you. I also spent a lot more time planning meals and shopping daily or every other day for produce and meat to make sure it was fresh.
  23. Depends on the state.

  25. So last week my media drive, aka my 2nd internal hard drive, decided to take a dive and go down for the count. This drive houses all of my pictures and music and like a complete moron I did not back any of it up on DVD's. Now the drive still shows up in my BIOS so it is not completely gone. So I ran Spinrite on it and it came back with a critical error, I know I need to bring in the big time geeks on this one. Does anyone know of a good computer repair / hard drive recovery place in the Milwaukee Metro Area where I can bring the hard drive in to see if they can recover some of my data? I was thinking of Milwaukee PC but didn't know if anyone else knew of some other reliable places that do this type of work. Thanks!
