  1. Wolf has been on. Time to add the insurance runs left on the bases last inning and put the lead into a 4-6 run margin.
  2. Nyjer, it's time to permanently seal yourself in the hatred of STL fans.
  3. Call to the bullpen in the Top of 5th. Time to make knocking out the starter early count.
  4. Would have liked to see a new #5 hitter, since Weeks isn't doing the job. Either moving Hairston to #5 and Weeks to #6 OR Hairston to #2 and Kotsay to #5 and Weeks to #6 would have been a change to consider. Other than that, I have no problem with the lineup. Hope to take the lead early and have some cushion going into Inning 7, then move Gomez in for defense.
  5. Disappointing loss. So much for touching the STL bullpen. Game 4 = Must Win.
  6. The way Hart's lately been "hitting" and fielding, I'd rather have Kotsay still in the lineup.
  7. Not a very good effort that inning. But if Hawkins can put a zero on the board, there's the chance to start the 7th with a PH and the top of the order against the next arm TLR runs out there. The game's there to be won, which I would never have thought after the bottom of the 1st.
  8. Another scoreless frame for Gallardo. Looks like it was mostly 1st inning jitters/adrenaline rush. Time to get him a lead and a W.
  9. Afraid so. I don't see RRR changing the lineup spots until the season ends--be that this round or the next.
  10. Doug Melvin better find a #5 hitter for next year. It is simply ludicrous how bad it's been this year.
  11. Top of the order, and the game's there for the taking. Time for BIG INNING.
  12. Find a way to win Game 3 or Game 4---maybe even both---and tonight will be a distant memory.
  13. Game is out of hand, but I want to see some runs this inning. Get something started that might carry over into next game. At least boost some confidence in the offense that even decent starting pitching should be enough to win this series.
