  1. Let Woodruff bat. He at least looks like he belongs at the plate.
  2. Pina, Broxton, Bandy due up. Surprise us, gentlemen. Edit: Make that Bandy in place of Pina. Looks like we might need a Susac surprise, too.
  3. A little Stevie Wonder in the background. Doubly fitting for that review.
  4. What's does this team need to do with the bases loaded? A team simply can't squander so many opportunities and expect good results.
  5. To be fair...it was pretty low and out of the zone. Yeah, looking again, it actually was. Just high enough. Game of inches.
  6. Trying to hold on to the narrowest of leads to seal the win. It's been feeling like playoff baseball for the past few weeks.
  7. Cleared the 1-4 hitters with no runs conceded. Stressful, but well done result from Barnes.
  8. Brewers have had two blowout wins versus the Cubs. Get one of those tomorrow, and the bullpen issue is solved. Even a 4/5-run lead might be enough. If not, then it looks like Wang is available as the situational lefty, along with the fake lefty Drake. Jeffress might be able to finish a lefty-righty sequence after Wang/Drake. Hader should be able to go an inning. Hughes might be the default closer.
  9. Late game RBI situations with Braun batting, but no runs produced. Failure is 70%+ of the game for batters, but couldn't have worse timing than tonight so far.
  10. Unfortunately so. Still an inning of at-bats to try to make up for that. If it's a magical season, then pull the rabbit out of the hat.
  11. Knebel for the four out save. Buckle your seat belts. Would be huge to get out of the 8th and blow the game open in the 9th.
  12. Had the Pirates on the ropes but couldn't land the knockout blow. Might be another tightrope walk for the back end up the bullpen.
  13. Walks equaling runs. Good inning so far. Time for the big hit.
  14. Was the play at second close? Watching on game day Not close.
  15. Pitcher can't seem to find the zone. Why not just let him move the runner to second on four pitches instead of the steal attempt?
  16. Just keep winning. All the Brewers can do, even when the scoreboard watching isn't going their way. Gotta love the fortitude being shown down the stretch. Just make that standard for the team to end this season, whenever it ends, and for the next season, when it begins.
  17. Might be a big insurance run picked up in the 8th. Nice to have the three-run lead.
  18. 3-4-5 hitters up in that situation and no runs produced. The frustration of baseball.
  19. 1st and 3rd with no out. Need this to be a crooked number inning.
  20. Got five shutout innings from Suter. Not sure how much he has left in the tank. But can't ask for much better performance.
  21. Some lousy base running by Shaw getting doubled up. For being in a defense that continually shifts for opponent batters, he should've seen where the Pirates set up their 2B rover fielder.
