    But the whole point is everytime he K's, I want to post something but can't and won't for the "better" of the board and then when he HR's, he is right there letting everyone know it. It is obvious that was directed towards the people who don't think Braynan is productive.

    I will leave it alone but why did I take the blame for the thread that got locked about Braynon. It's ok for Ruz to put HR HR HR and I can't put K K K since he did hit a HR and a K. Why isn't Rluz responsible for bumping the stupid thread back up. I gave Braynan props for his HR in the game thread and didn't mention his K until rluz brought it up. Also, Ralph if you are reading this, what is your problem? How is it any different than what Rluz did. I would appreciate it if you didn't single my post out like that. Thanks buddy.

    Can I chime in and say Yost doesn't have a clue. Lee hasn't even been close to getting a hit in this series. We will come back though and take the lead here in the 7th or 8th.

    Great post RoseBowl. I agree with you and that is why I think OPS is a little overrated if that is how you measure which player is better. Is Overbay elite? Obviously not, but he is a decent option at first if you don't have one of the big three. I would rather have a player hit with runners on base and in scoring postion than someone who increases their SLG and OPS with doubles and solo shots (i.e. Branyan) but then again, Branyan doesn't even do that anymore, he just swings and misses.

    Look how bad those two at bats were by Lee and Jenkins. Lee swings at a pitch down in the zone on a 1-0 count and Jenkins takes a weak defensive swing on a 0-0 count. Terrible approach by the middle of the order. Unacceptable

    i love stats too but think OPS can be inflated and hitting with runners on and one or two outs should count more than hitting a double with two outs and nobody on or launching a 440 foot homerun in a 11-2 loss. My favorite stats about how good a hitter is in MY opinion are .AVG and .OBP I think .OBP can be a little flawed just like every other stat by where you hit in the line-up, reaching on errors, etc. You can't weigh situational hitting and sometimes can't even describe it. That is why you just have to watch the game. Lets track Braynans at bats this weekend against Houston and rate them on 1-10 and see what kind of weekend he has. Don't get me wrong, I want him to suceed because it would help the team, I just don't have the confidence it will happen.

    I won't personally attack any player any more or request they come down with a small injury. Bottom line, I don't want anyone to get hurt, it was more to just prove a point and I'm sorry if I offended anyone, even Russell if he is reading this. They are going to be things written and said about athletes that they just have to deal with. I think Russell's family can tolerate a little "sneezing" request, but I do see how it could affend some people, sensative or not. Personally, I think these discussions are great. I enjoy reading what rluz, and brian the automater and ralph, brett and many others have to say. That is great that Brewer fans can be so different and have different opinions. We all want this team to be good and that is the bottom line. I don't know how this site was before, I am assuming everyone agreed pretty much and there was no challenging any thing someone else said. Somehow though, OPS becaume the most important stat in determing how good a hitter is and that bothers me. That would be like me and a gang of 6 others who thought K's were the most important stat and vigoursly brought up that one stat only. I don't take any of this personally, I just feel bad for anyone who actually thinks Russell is productive (im kidding). If they want to ban me beacuse they don't like me, that's fine, yeah I'll be sad but I can still always read what everyone else is saying and cuss at the computer when I disagree.
