  1. there are a couple random stops the bus will make on eash wash if you ask. i have seen people get off at the railroad tracks near pizza pit, savers, etc.
  2. you actually do not even have to declare a redshirt as far as i know. all you are doing is not playing in any games, thus not using up a year of eligibility. as for jarmusz, it is rumored that he is working his way back up the rotation after falling out due to the injuries.
  3. badger bus picks up at the airport. drops off at the memorial union and the bus depot near the kohl center. http://www.badgerbus.com
  4. tools>options>block pop-up windows
  5. they all only played about 25 minutes though...i think the highest minute total was 26 last night.
  6. never had a pop-up with firefox. i actually find myself having to disabling the pop-up blocker when sites have pop-ups that you want to see. i also have become immune to the lack of ads on firefox thanks to ad-block. i will look at a site in IE or something and think "wow...i never knew there were ads there!"
  7. i dont know if i would get that nuts after one game. bo has said that he will look like a superstar at times but then look merely normal at others. this was also online today...about jarmusz:http://www.madison.com/wsj/home/sports/badgersBBm/256372
  8. there are rumblings about jarmusz redshirting, but nothing has been said either way. the fact that he did not play last night could be a sign? we should know alot about this team once the B10 season comes along...they have a pretty solid NC schedule...at Duke, at Texas, Georgia, Marquette
  9. i would go with either of the honda's. my family has had 5 of them in the past 10 years and they all have been great. i have had an accord and a civic (and a pilot, but dont get one of those unless you need to!) and neither have been space issues for be. gas on both is great. i generally get about 25MPG on a '02 accord and got close to 30MPG on an '04 civic before i traded it in for the beastly pilot.
  10. the number of student basketball tickets available on ebay and craigslist is disgusting. they need to take attendance. give you one or two misses (for classes, studying, etc) but then your tickets are gone. maybe a plan for winter break as well. or at least if they make you swipe an id and you give your ticket to a friend, you could give them your id to swipe. most people wouldnt give their id to a stranger to swipe to show they were there. i understand the people have the right to do whatever with their tickets, but when so many people got nothing, it is just wrong. (note...i had student tickets 4 years and missed 2 games...had to work)
  11. oops...forgot the season went into 08.
  12. what do you mean, this will be the historic 66th anniversary of the championship team
  13. from the link on uwbadgers.com, it seems extremely geared toward students.
  14. we were in the rafters of the BC last year and you could feel the heat from the pyro's way up there. the first half of their show was a little "odd" last year (not what we were expecting), but the second half was really good.
  15. who gets their car detailed every two months? manicures every week? if you are doing both of those, i am pretty sure you aren't worried about "little costs" i agree 100% with the lunch thing though. i have worked with many people who went out for lunch all the time. i always thought about how much that would cost...crazy. thank goodness i dont smoke anymore and rarely drink.
  16. something about being alone and the word "putz" in the same post isn't sitting right with me (sorry in advance...i couldn't pass it up)
  17. was just at the heidel house in green lake last weekend. pretty cool. and be nice to stallis.
  18. Hall said in the post game tonight that they are sneaking peeks every so often. You can't take away the reaction at the ballpark tonight when the Cubs game went final.
  19. I haven't seen anything about what happens if they don't go. I am assuming that we get to keep them? It was very surreal looking at Brewers playoff tickets...especially when the first thing I saw when I opened the envelope was the World Series tickets. EDIT: People that won the lottery had the option of printing their tickets online according to a friend that scored tickets in the lottery.
  20. if i would have been married in milwaukee...i would have the coolest wedding photos
  21. make sure you get some sort of "college experience" having spent 5 years in madison, i kind of feel bad for the people i knew that stayed at home and commuted to UWM. even if you are not a party-er, taking in some of the social aspects of college is part of the whole experience...IMO
  22. i exchanged unused season tickets last week for next tuesday and wednesday. monday terrace tickets were all gone. i would just call the ticket office to make sure.
  23. i heard someone on the radio this morning mention that dawson was dead, but i could not find that fact anywhere on the internet. and we all know how factual the internet is!
  24. Brett Somers has also died. http://news.yahoo.com/s/eonline/20070917/en_celeb_eo/946659e41fa7_4eda_b64a_0286802c4248 Who is next? Richard Dawson? Betty White? Fannie Flagg?
  25. i used to say the same thing, then i ended up with a history degree...and teaching history for 3 years! it all depends on the professors you get. some make things so interesting, and others are just a bore. my first history prof at madison was fantastic. i sat in the front row of lecture every day and was actually interested. all this from someone who graduated HS saying he would never take another history class ever again!
