  1. If we are talking 20 years, sure, all the above and more need to be upgraded or replaced. No shocker. Putting 20 million into the ballpark upgrades per year for 20 years seem much more right than 400 million seemingly more up front in the next 7. Maybe I am misreading this, but when the urgent matter is doubling the size of the video board, I can’t believe the roof and infrastructure are in dire need of major work.
  2. Brewers—— “You are looking hurt, bud.” Voit—— “Feel fine, actually.” Brewers—- “Must be feeling pretty stiff, though.” Voit—— “Nope.” Brewers—— “Well, then we need to let you, a healthy hole in the lineup, go.” Voit——- “ Now that you mention it, my shirt neck has been especially tight lately…neck stiffness, yes.”
  3. Gotta give Cutch those ABs against RHP last year….must have been what those seasoned MLB execs were saying to CC. His RHP ABs alone redistributed get us in the playoffs.
  4. Using WAR, sure, he looks bad. Yet his OPS was better than Adames, our maybe best hitter in 2022? Let’s not drag his name through the mud when that is true. Sign me up for Hiura in the 8th spot striking out 50% of the time if he can hit 30 HRs and be even a .750 OPS guy. Let’s just look at the bat and commit to him lower in the order. Our weakness at the MLB level is scoring runs. How about if we acknowledge that the NL has a DH and we actually consider Hiura for that position, especially if our current DH options are playing themselves out of playing time, and we really do not have other great options.
  5. In the lineup, in the field, on the road between AAA and Milwaukee, at end of games…. Jerked around. Yet, he hit .866 OPS against righties with an inconsistent 157 plate appearances
  6. Better to just say he has K issues and defensive issues. Hi bat looks way better, even his avg MLB self, than half of the guys on this team.
  7. He has been jerked around so much by the Brewers I feel sorry for him.
  8. So twisted… making Hiura out to be this awful MLB hitter (can we trust him?) is just nuts, especially when his OPS was better than Adames, our #2 hitter in 2022. Bring him up, have him hit 8th at DH. Instant upgrade to the lineup.
  9. Why meaningless? It’s a simple comparison reminding us the season is young. Also, we have been well into NFL Game 3 this week if you are going 162 MLB games divided by 17 NFL games = 9.5 MLB games per 1 NFL game. Right now Game 3 is almost over. Our next game we’ll get to the start of Game 4. We are basically 2-1 in the NFL season.
  10. I check on Biloxi almost daily to check on Chourio and Black. I’m so encouraged with Black’s numbers and really surprised to see him at 3B. Does anyone know anything about the Brewers intentions with him? Is he trying out 3B or did 2B not work for some reason?
  11. He’s pitching in his regular spot in the rotation… after Miley. Normal, not pushed back. He gets the benefit of the off day.
  12. Surprised Burnes is pitching on regular rest. I thought he would be pushed back a start. When a pitcher asks to come out… I don’t care for what, it is best practice to give him a few extra days… Burnes especially and mostly.
  13. I agree that he could be used at DH more. Yet, I am ok with early rest in April and May.
  14. Just a little worse than Bonds…ha. I’ll take a 50% K rate if he can hit 40 HRs.
  15. Only 7 home runs so far… couple weeks in.
  16. CC—— “it’s minor, precautionary… nothing major.”
  17. April 17- Burnes, Woodruff, Houser, Ashby…. and really plenty of others.
  18. And Gene Match’s entire conversation… every word. Said Vuch had nothing and knew he had nothing…and still did well.
  19. a few things… Don Sutton’s interview and gratitude…wow. Charlie Moore thanking Harry Dalton for being hardheaded and not listening to his demand for a trade. Yount and Molitor interviewed by Uecker… Ladd’s awe of the moment. never seen this postgame footage before!!! So great!
