  1. He’s hitting better than anybody on the team AND we have the DH AND he gets scraps for at bats. Inexcusable.
  2. Well, they are trying, it appears.
  3. 2014 was just awful. Scoring a run a game. Braun forgot how to pull a ball. 2017 was bad too. 2022 is a waste of a season as of today. No reason we have to be this bad over the last few months. Of course, happy for baseball, life and health. On a different level, is asking for a .260 hitter too much?
  4. Turang and Frelick might be awful, but calling them up would at least show that we have a pulse. Produce or call up guys lighting it up in AAA.
  5. All us Brewers fans should be upset. YEP! Waste of a season. Crying shame.
  6. Ulice Payne the guy from like 19 years ago, like quit literally on the Brewers. He quit. The guy you represent and share names. That guy. Snubbed and quit on this organization. No mas. He then milked the team for 2.7 million in a buyout of his contract with like five years still on it. These posters are venting after a tough loss. They are Brewers fans. We are giving games away against awful teams and we should all be angry.
  7. Losing games we used to win… close battles. Maddening. At least we ended it with Hiura on the bench. Craig got what he wanted.
  8. Hiura taken out in a tie game? CC just looking for any way to get him out of a game.
  9. We have to…. Just have to try this. No down side.
  10. A .little more than a 500 team. Yet, a dangerous playoff team with Burnes, Woodruff, and Peralta if we can sneak in. Get a spark from Frelick and Hiura… get hot at the right time and who knows.
  11. And by the way, Hiura’s OPS is 1.120 against RHP. He still might be sitting against righties. Goldschmidt and Arenado, MVP candidates, cannot match this with .903 and .970 vs rhp respectively.
  12. I really cannot believe that we are not bringing up Frelick. Kind of like not playing Hiura for a month after he even hit well. Just basic decisions that are costing us. We are in need of a spark and only a few options are left this season for us. Frelick is the obvious choice. The only saving grace is that we still can bring him up Sept. 1.
  13. Great ideas…. Out of all of them, Cleveland would be my choice. Maybe a trip thru Fort Wayne to a minor league game and their famous children’s zoo. Friday night in June fits my schedule better than the others too. Love the idea of seeing all teams. Will be looking forward to each year’s schedule more now too, seeing if a trip to a certain city lines up well.

  15. Is he hurt? He hasn’t been playing in a while, has he?
  16. Ding, ding, ding… on the mark here. Brewers are way down in attendance, and per usual, the attendance figures seem bloated by 5,000 people or so. I have been at a few games this year, usually 30,000 or so. Yet, I’d say that the attendance was closer to 25,000, just a bit over half full. It’s not because of all no shows either, like some believe. Consider this, in 2008, the Brewers had 44 sellouts! 44. This included 22 consecutive sellouts after CC was traded for. And 3 out of 4 years from 2008-2011 of 3 million fans. Brewers also had 3 million in 2018, I believe, if you count the six playoff games. Our attendance is still good comparatively with other teams with the bloated numbers, but it has been oh so much better. My guess is the impact would be 40-50 million easy compared to a big year. A couple of big moves at the deadline obviously would have helped attendance, but the team is trying to weigh the benefits of the bottom line and future teams in 2023 and 2024, understandably.
  17. We don’t even have to play THAT “well” to get into the playoffs. It’s crazy to think. I used to think 90 wins was a must for division winner or (one) wild card. Now, a few games over .500 might do it for the third WC. We’ll see how the Padres and Phillies do, but the Brewers are still a scary team to play in a three game series. Peralta or Lauer could pitch middle relief, one or the other.
  18. Balls be ripped…. Righties beware.
  19. How much did MA make doing drive up Covid tests in the parking lots? That number was never announced, correct? Had to be a few million dollars, right?.
  20. He doesn’t need to think about double switches or who is up. Should be easy to let a reliever pitch to an extra guy next inning for matchup purposes. Did it tonight, thoug. Correct.
  21. 90 PA vs righties .299 Avg/ .400 OBP/ 1.036 OPS And that is with those at bats S PR E A D out over this season!!!! Truly remarkable. Defenseless decision by Counsel. STILL stubborn. Honestly wondering if he starts more than a game in LA. Very questionable if that happens STILL.
