  1. Did not expect to read that about Yelich a week ago
  2. That would make him Barry Bonds at DH for us.
  3. Aren't we better off, this season at least, after trading Hader?
  4. We got to keep trying to not get owned by every left handed pitcher in baseball.
  5. I think his ceiling is a low to mid .700's OPS guy which is valuable with good defense. Unfortunately he is below average defensively but still has a role on this team until he gets more expensive.
  6. Do not hire the guy that got outcoached by Bud in the Finals
  7. I would give those two at least until Frelick is back and hopefully playing well. Then if things are still the way they are now, I would swap Hiura and Frelick for Voit and Winker. Play Keston at least 5 games a week and rotate the other guys at DH to give them a day off.
  8. We could have just declined Wong's option and saved some bucks.
  9. If you are going to spend two roster spots on a DH platoon, they better produce.
  10. The made up part of me saying to cut him now after asking, because you know this is a forum, when we should move on. (good edit by the way adding soon because you know you f'ed up)
  11. This was the original question I asked "Didn't want to bring this up in a loss but at what point do we drop Winker/Voit and give Hiura a chance? I know he isn't generally liked on the board but DH is giving us nothing." Again, you just make up stuff.
  12. Cool, you answered the original question which is when you make a move. The rest of the stuff is just things you made up in your head.
  13. Hey let's compare two guys that provide a lot of value on defense with a designated hitter.... jfc.
  14. Comparing the Bregman and Winker situations is laughable. Bregman still has a .6 WAR because he provides defense. When you are a DH, you kinda need to produce at the plate. Plus I am sure Bregman had a cold or something so then those stats don't matter or something.
  15. If this is what Winker and Voit are, then there is no depth.
  16. Yeah he needs a little more of a leash but no reason to ignore the last 600+ ABs. Answering my own question, I think he will get at least another month.
  17. I guess but slugging under .300 is not good (being nice)
  18. Didn't want to bring this up in a loss but at what point do we drop Winker/Voit and give Hiura a chance? I know he isn't generally liked on the board but DH is giving us nothing.
  19. The guy just reminds me of Mat Gamel. (hopefully he will stay healthy)
  20. I am hopeful all of this playing time will help Joey's development. I mean we really have no choice until Urias is back.
  21. At what point do we just rotate Caratini and Contreras at DH? No homers for your DHs this far into the season is ridiculous.
