    Baseball America updated their rankings to include the draft. Here is our boys: 2- Chourio 30- Frelick 37-Misiorowski 55- Quero 98-Gasser 100- Black I think Quero is too low and Gasser is too high personally. Either way, it is good to have 6 in the Top 100. It didn't seem like long ago that we would have 1-2

    I only pickup Soto if you are acquiring at least another bat as well. It is clear Atlanta is the front runner in the NL so we would need to upgrade to get around their level. (assuming they don't add as well) Does this lineup and our pitching re-enforcements give us a chance? Yelich (LF) Soto (RF) Contreras (C) Santana (1B) Jimenez/Tellez (DH) Adames (SS) Anderson (3B) Urias (2B) Wiemer (CF) Yes I know bites of the apple is the philosophy but this would be our best team in a while. If you don't feel like this will give us a decent shot, stick with Frelick and Tellez.

    I had EBJ and Lauer going to the White Sox in the Trade Forum. They can say they got a top prospect and a starting pitcher that has had recent success.

    Best I would do is Frelick and Quero. Ironically, it is almost exactly a "fair" deal according to BTV. Honestly, I don't know if I'd do it if given the chance.

    It would be awesome until we get beat in the playoffs. I would enjoy the Brewers offering the token 5 years and 100 million dollars to him however.

    Jimenez has a better reputation than production. If his name were something like Jake Berger and he put up similar numbers, people wouldn't expect as much for him. With that said, he fits what we need being a DH. I like like that he would not be a rental as well.

    This is a pretty good trade for the White Sox as Jimenez doesn't have a ton of trade value. I do not want to trade future closer Uribe so I would say no to this one. Hiura has no trade value but if they want him, sure. Brewers: Jimenez White Sox: EBJ and Lauer They can try and get Lauer back to being a good pitcher and EBJ is a good prospect. Going off of the Trade Values website, this is an overpay for the Brewers but we may see some interesting things in a major sellers market.

    What minor and major leaguers are you willing to give up at the deadline? (that have some value) Major Leaguers (yes I know they are in AAA right now but have significant MLB service time)- Urias and Lauer Minor Leaguers- EBJ, Adams, Mendez, Small, Moore, Zamora This is my list. Whether we can get any significant pieces from these guys is to be seen with it looking like a major sellers market. My teams to target are the Rockies and White Sox. If the Cardinals would work with us, they would be on that list too.

    This team still needs a couple of bats. You can't expect the bullpen to be perfect all of the time.

    I get the reasoning but our "A" guys have been pitching a lot including last night. JT being under 80 pitches and not having much trouble.
