  1. Seeing Jimenez coming up gimpy in the Ramirez knockout had me laughing.
  2. Sal loves to dive on plays where he doesn't need to. I played softball with a guy notorious for that and it was always funny.
  3. Looking forward to seeing Woody get the series win tomorrow.
  4. Quote the rest of it now
  5. My car weighs 3500 lbs, much less than a full size pickup truck. I realize that isn't apples to apples. I think the fact that it has low resistance tires and the high torque will mean more.
  6. I am almost to three years with my EV and all I have done is rotate tires.
  7. Miller started off hot but has been bad for a while now.
  8. Sure they could have done more but they added 2 regular starters to their lineup and another "A" reliever in the bullpen. I think they did more to improve their team than any team at the deadline.
  9. Is Joey Wiemer the new Richie Sexson... meaning the guy that many people spell the last name incorrectly despite being on the team for a long time?
  10. Was part of this a salary dump for our other pickups?
  11. That Grisham trade went from a loss to a win to a loss again.... how the turntables
  12. I get it with 3 websites that it must be tough and I have no issues with fans of other teams writing these articles. However, there needs to be some research and integration into the team you are writing about so that you have some idea what you are talking about. Also, giving the platform to just anyone is going to cause frustrations. One of your most frequent writers is a Brewers fan, but is known for his bizarre takes like moving Braun to SS and 3B, even up until he was ready to retire. While long tenured members may shrug it off, new visitors to the website are going to think the membership is mostly idiots.
  13. There needs to be a vetting process done before you can submit an article. Some of the articles I have read on here involved little to no research and were just awful to be frank. If I wanted that kind of content, there are other sites to visit.
  14. Good thing we haven't done that yet.
  15. He doesn't seem slow but there have already been at least 3 times I can think of where he does not take the extra base
  16. Has Frelick always been this poor of a baserunner?
  17. If you need stupid humor, The Righteous Gemstones is hilarious.
  18. Any idea on where Canha will play or will he be all over and DH? I am kinda hoping we acquire a legitimate DH and then have Frelick in CF and Canha in right. (late game subs for defense)
  19. We've given up very little to acquire Canha and Santana. I like it because we needed some vets that could be around average players. I am surprised the Mets were willing to pay Canha's salary to acquire Jarvis. I still think we make one more move.
  20. It worked great until he was clearly hurt. Either Rowdy should have told management he was hurt or management should have recognized it and put him on the IL sooner.
  21. Well considering the Brewers rely on good defense and have a winning record because of it, it is kind of important. You compared guys that are not DHs with Eloy that is a clear DH. DH's have value but the guys that are not always available and are not still in Arbys, are worth less. I don't understand why you dismiss that. The Brewers are starting too many rookies and need someone that can reliably hit a baseball. For that reason, they should have some interest in Eloy. If the price is too high, you just bide your time until Tellez is back or you call up Tyler Black and move on.
  22. Well if you consider Jimenez a viable outfielder (he isn't) then I could see how this is a problem. The guys you mention played at least somewhat passable defense recently. Jimenez has been bad ever since he has been a MLB player and outfield defense is not something that gets better with age normally. Compare guys that are DH only with health issues and you get a lot different story.
