  1. I would assume our 5th outfielder is Arcia now? I can't see a 5th outfielder getting much PT with the 4 guys we've got.
  2. The team got better today and that is good news in a division that should be pretty tight. This signing should pretty much close the door on Garcia getting enough ABs for his option to kick in which is good news as well. Also, I thought I was told that if it leaks that we are interested in a player that the player doesn't sign with us.
  3. I am scheduled for tomorrow, but for whatever reason I am hesitant to get the first shot... Just make sure to not look to see where they are putting the microchip...
  4. I am now eligible for the vaccine and very impatiently waiting to get a call.
  5. Draft priorities: CB, OL, DL I would pick up a cheap vet to split carries with Dillon. I also like our TEs so I wouldn't invest anymore in that that position. If there is a great value, then pick up a WR.
  6. If you can truly get a 2nd round pick for Jones, that is a massive no brainer. I would be happy with a 3rd however. It is likely they would get a 4th round comp pick if they let him go in free agency.

    Pizza

I would say it is above average.
  8. I would assume we will have more bullpen days with Peralta and Suter going multiple innings.
  9. I can't imagine having the best defense in baseball with Yelich in LF, Hiura at 1B, a position he has never played, and Narvaez at catcher. That doesn't scream "best" to me. Have we improved from last year defensively? Yes, assuming Cain hasn't lost a step. I don't really put Shaw into the category of an elite defender. Have we improved offensively? Probably, assuming Yelich and Hiura's acts last year won't be repeated. Shaw is a wild card. We have no idea where he will be offensively. We still have Arcia unless Urias overtakes him. What teams will be better defensively if they sign JBJ?

    Pizza

Tried the Detroit Pizza from Pizza Hut. It was pretty good overall and I would get it again. I am gonna ask and see if they would use the breadstick sauce instead of the sauce they used on top however.
  11. I am leasing an electric car right now. (they are cheap) Although gas prices indirectly affect things, I am happy that they don't affect me directly anymore.
  12. Braun coming back to be a platoon partner with Hiura and 4th/5th outfielder would be great.
  13. He would be a luxury so I'm not going to invest as much time into this as Turner which would have been a much more significant addition.
  14. One thing that gets forgotten is that a player has to want to come here. Although it is more fun to pick and choose any potential free agent, I am sure the realistic pool is smaller.
  15. MLB Trade Rumors predicted 2 years and 16 million for Bradley. I wouldn't have a problem with that. Then I would bring Braun back (if he wants to of course) and release Vogelbach.
  16. If Cain opts out, we have a big hole and a lot more money to work with.
  17. Garcia is almost guaranteed to be gone next season and we don't have any outfielders knocking on the door.
  18. I'm not a real estate expert, but I'd have probably moved on this deal... Apparently I'm not either. I caught wind of this before it hit a Realtor and thought they were overpriced by about $100,000 so I passed. They hired a Realtor and got an extra $175,000 over what they wanted when they put the land out on bids. I think part of it was the total cost would have been my highest purchase to date by quite a bit so I was gunshy. Oh well, lesson learned.
  19. I am on 5 different waiting lists for the vaccine and I also fall into 2 categories so I am hoping I get a call soon. I wish there were a single spot to sign up but I understand why there isn't.
  20. I would assume that is against the CBA.
  21. I think they were in a holding pattern until Justin Turner made his decision. I'd bet that Attanasio was willing to go over budget to sign Turner, but his signing would have meant that there was no extra money for anyone else. When Turner went back to LA, the Brewers had a few million dollars left in the budget, so they signed Shaw and Anderson. I just wonder if there was a better "Plan B" out there that signed with someone else while we were stuck waiting for Turner's decision. I'm fine with the Anderson signing. It really seemed like we needed to get another starting pitcher, so Anderson will help the team. I would've liked Odorizzi, but he was probably out of the Brewers price range for a "non-superstar" signing. I think Stearns has some flexibility yet if he wants to spend. We wouldn't be interested in Rosenthal who signed for 11 million if there wasn't. I am okay with them not spending if it means we can add at the deadline if necessary.
  22. If Robertson wants to close to earn more money with his next team, I say we let him do that.
  23. Hader Williams Peralta Yardley Suter Topa Wahl Black I am extremely bullish on this pen. If they stay healthy, should be one of the best in baseball.
  24. Hows the average ticket price and food item prices compare? Parking? How many fans don't purchase any foods after tailgating before games? What about the TV contract?
