  1. I live in a condo community in Waukesha. Last year, I had six neighbors who had lived here fewer than four years sell their property at a gain that computes to an annual 6%-8%. That isn't surprising in this market. If I were more brave, I would sell all of my properties right now and then look to buy later after the adjustment.
  2. You could be missing out on another 5 years of growth before the correction though. I think I just need to wait until they lift the foreclosure ban which throws the whole "supply and demand" claim out the window.
  3. I am too lazy to look it up but I thought I remember seeing a video of him trying to get out of a ticket by saying he was Shooter McGavin.
  4. A spinoff based on Shooter McGavin could have been interesting.
  5. I have looked into building new as my gf's dad is a home builder. He laughed and said just wait til the bubble crashes as nothing makes sense for investments. So I guess that is what I will do, be ready when the bubble bursts again.
  6. RHP: Wong Yelich Hiura Narvaez Garcia Shaw Cain Urias LHP: Cain Yelich Hiura Garcia Urias Robertson Pina Arcia
  7. Good point. Bring in Arcia for SS and move Urias over to 3rd for a great defensive infield. Although our late inning guys strikeout out a lot anyways.
  8. I would bet against that easily.
  9. Exactly. There might only be 2-3 lefty starters in the division anyways.
  10. I am assuming we are done now. We will have some ability to take on payroll at the deadline which I like.
  11. .652 Career OPS against leftys. There aren't many LHPs in the Central so it will be a good way to give him days off.
  12. NFL Live has been surprisingly good the last few times I have watched it. I won't watch Stephen A, Skip, etc.
  13. Yep. Two low-cost, non-splashy moves that probably make the team better. I'm not expecting Shaw to remember how to hit like he did in 2017-18 at age 31, but it sure would be great if he could contribute power... Against LHP: 3B Robertson 2B Urias SS Arcia Against RHP: 3B Shaw 2B Wong SS Urias Should be good defensively and hopefully can provide some offense.
  14. Anderson made a lot of sense as a starter and Shaw makes sense as part of a platoon.
  15. Some places were projecting us to win the division before this signing so this doesn't make us worse.
  16. Great news! Looking forward to the season (and better weather)
  17. Sure does sound like Urias is being looked at as the main guy at SS. With that being said, I do not believe they are done adding at 3B. You cannot go into the season with Robertson as the main option with Arcia as the fallback. We will definitely be adding someone or Green will be in the mix at the very least.
  18. So is real estate overpriced or really overpriced? I have been itching to pick up another property the last 6 months and just can't find anything decent. I had one opportunity that I just missed and another that would have been good. (I could have bought it for $175,000 less than what it sold for). What are the real estate investors on here seeing out there?
  19. I prefer he stick around for trade scenario throw-ins.
  20. He must be abysmal defensively to have a +.800 OPS and a negative WAR
  21. This is why we can't have the DH.
  22. Trade our comp pick for him.
  23. There are enough middling 3B free agents left that I am guessing we will go that route. One of those guys should be pretty cheap.
  24. So much for that... Can't believe the Brewers wouldn't match that offer. Agreed. Terrible optics, especially with all the lefty power in the central with Votto, Moose, Winker, Arenado, Rizzo and Pederson. Having at least one proven lefty in that rotation would have been ideal. Um what?
