    He looked fine to me, before he threw a lollipop right up the middle to Johnson. I wouldn't blame the elbow for that one/A pitcher has never hit a homer in the history of baseball!

    It was not a lazy argument at all. There were quotes provided that backed his argument quite well. If even the player agrees with what is said, then how can it be debated? Also one more thing, this website almost uses stats exclusively for everything. (many acroynms for stats that casual fans would have no idea what they mean) They are almost always accepted as fact so I find it quite alarming that you grow tired of people who use stats having "lines thrown at them". It's not the case at all. To answer the original question, Parra has more trade value because of his ceiling.

    I would give up Escobar and Jeffress in the right deal. That right deal would be one where we control the pitcher for more than this season of course.

    Because the Pirates need a lot more help than just Doumit? Jaramillo seems like he is the future at catcher.

    I was looking at Doumit for a left handed bat that could hit at catcher. Jaramillo seems like their future at catcher. He actually reminds me a lot of a young Kendall. Maybe Taylor Green would be enough?

    I am more concerned about helping our lineup this year. Kendall is a black hole at the bottom and his defense has not been as good this year as last.

    Like what was said last year, you can always tell that summer is around the corner when people are complaining about the Summerfest lineup. I personally think its by far the best lineup I have seen.

    I just got a Garmin 205W from tigerdirect and think highly of it. It was about $120 I believe.

    Great show but I think it will be interesting to see how much longer they can go with this.

    With being a new home purchaser, I am kind of relying on the $8000 tax credit to be my emergency reserve sadly. I know that even if I get laid off after next year, I will have to stay in the area for 3 years. I am in a position where I should get at least 60% because I am the only one who teaches what I do. Looking at national statistics, I would say very few younger people have a 6 month reserve.

    Sounds like solid advice. I guess I will have to talk to my tax person about the doubling up idea. I had never heard of doing that before.
