  1. So just looking at the Twins I do not think they will be legitimate contenders. (especially in that division) Why not take a look at trading for Torii Hunter? I would think they would be interested in players like Gabe Gross, Capellan, and some other prospects. I am not sure how much it would take but he is going to be a free agent. I would not mind him with his excellent defense in there as a rent-a-player.
  2. The start Vargas is having is really reminding me of that great first half Victor Santos had back in the day.
  3. He is Canadian so I am almost positive that this will be talked about. I would trade Inman, Vargas, Capellan and Gwynn for Harden.
  4. In 2nd place now.... what is her OPS? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  5. I voted.... more than once.
  6. You know what really grinds my gears? America (you know the word) you!
  7. A little bit of a drama queen are we?
  8. I would be in favor of a graffanino and Capellan for Cantu trade. Start him at third until Braun is ready. He can also play 2B and 1B too which would be very nice.
  9. Dear FSN, I live in Menomonie WISCONSIN and don't want to watch T-Wolves games instead of the Brewers especially when it says the Brewers game is on. If I wanted to watch that, I would either get the package or move to Minnesota. So I have to go to a sports bar and aid my alcoholism. Please play the games you have listed and Charter please get some service people that can speak English when I call to complain. Your friend, wallus
  10. Where would Blake play? The outfield players are better than him. (assuming you keep the platoon). He could play 3rd potentially but he hasn't for a while and Braun is in the wings. I don't see how this helps us.
  11. My thinking is that if we wanted to get him at the deadline, get him now. I am thinking his addition would be very valuable to our bullpen and would get rid of a weak member while adding a very good member. So with that said, I am thinking maybe Jackson (they could start him now), Aquino, and Inman would be a fair trade. We could maybe throw them Mench too if they wanted him. Tell me if I am way off here.
  12. Surgery? Are you sure you weren't a Brewers pitching prospect at some time? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif take care.
  13. Isn't Soup only getting $6 million this year so wouldn't that leave a little extra room? (not a lot)
  14. I think a Turnbow and Mench deal for Lieber is a pretty fair trade. Would that leave the possibility of having Villanueva and Vargas in the pen?
  15. Yeah who would want that cheap production out of a corner outfield slot anyways....
  16. Why would we trade Hall for someone who is much less versatile, much more expensive and older... not to mention arguably worse??
  17. We DID already address our "speed" problem. Estrada is faster than Miller, Suppan is faster than DD and Counsell is faster than Cirillo. Not to mention that we will have Corey Hart as a starter.. I don't see a problem here.
  18. Am I the only one that see Penny as a stud and would give up LOTS to get him?...
  19. Do you really feel a need to post in every thread like some people on this site do? This is a TRADE PROPOSAL section of Brewerfan and thats what the guy was doing....

  21. Thanks for stating that rather than helping....
  22. What is the email address to email Daron and Bill?
  23. Good job Yost for sending Jenks a message for once! Moved down and then benched? Boo ya
  24. Did Baldwin from UWW get drafted?
  25. Oh ok, yeah now I know who you are talking about. When Berkman first got up to bat my friends and I started an overrated chant but then pretty much ended it after his 2nd at bat. That one guy was definately toasted off the sauce.
