  1. BA having Antunez at #10 is surprising to me. Is this because of the Brewers LA reputation or is he another gem?
  2. The only one I thought of was Pratt has been a little underwhelming with the bat. Maybe Bitonti until his recent hot streak?
  3. They will platoon in CF. With all of the injuries, I can't see Garrett having enough trade value to make it worth moving him at the deadline
  4. I was going to make a similar post about a week ago. I've been impressed with what they've been doing so I guess I would shy towards keep doing what's working
  5. I think we are no worse than Top 3 at the moment. For the most part, guys are having good years in our system
  6. Not if Hall and one or two other pitchers can get through the game. I wish they would do this with Ashby too.
  7. You don't need a financial planner. Setup recurring investments in something like a total market ETF (VTI) or the S&P 500 (VOO). If you want even more diversification you could always do the total world market. (VT)
  8. Suggest someone else/another package. My reasoning is the Dbacks don't have a lot for pitching in their minors and Suarez is on the leaderboard for homers. There would be competition for him with how terrible 3B production is around the league.
  9. The Dbacks might be sellers if Burnes is out for a long time. Brewers: Suarez (BTV: 4.7) Dbacks: Wichrowski (BTV: 5.4)
  10. Sign him to be a coach.
  11. I just posted an ad for some seasonal positions we have open. We pay well so we have gotten a ton of applications. The quality of said applications are mostly pure dookie so far. (40 and climbing) I'm sure we'll find enough people but weeding through the garbage is annoying.
  12. The Brewers tried to extend Freddy and he said no. https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2025/05/25/assessing-the-trade-market-if-the-brewers-sell-who-could-move-on/83852713007/
  13. I would lean towards heavily selling this deadline. The team has a fair amount of vets that likely won't be back next year. I think it's time to see what we have in our first wave of young guys that are in AAA or on the big league team. No reason to hang onto Hoskins, Civale, Quintana or Cortes. I would make most of the bullpen guys available too if the price is right, Megill, Koenig, Mears especially. Let's call up EMJ, Black, Seigler, CRod and see if they will be part of the future or not. While moving those guys, I would also consider adding another infielder that has team control beyond this season. Urias and Lowe would be possibilities. It's probably not likely to see this much movement, but the roster definitely needs a major re-tooling.
  14. I would be open to trading Peralta if the return is large. We definitely have learned this season that you need a ton of starters to make it through a season so keeping him would be fine. I really like our future rotation but it would be incredibly young and a couple of vets wouldn't hurt anything.
