While I won't disagree that Murph would have Peralta pitch in the playoffs before Henderson, you are disrespecting the historic start of Logan.     I did say that and if you are looking at stats/stuff this year, it's easily defensible. Translating that into "could barely make our rotation" is a huge stretch.

    I agree with the premise and idea. The easiest option would be playing Perk as he can still hit lhp a little. Lockridge will help with this as well.

    I wouldn't undo the Freddy trade right now. Jett Williams will hopefully make an impact yet this season and Freddy would be our #3 starter on this team, maybe #4.

    Skubal is in a class of his own for sure (who knows how this injury will change things) but it's been a long while since a top 25 prospect has been traded for a rental, much less adding more.

    To me, he is one of our top prospects and needs to catch more. A guy without a lot of experience catching isn't going to improve as quickly if he isn't catching. He is almost 23 and still in A ball, 50% isn't enough. I never said throwing in the towel so that is conjecture on your part. He may still have an MLB future at another position but the real value is as a catcher.
