    It sounds like Durbin needs some work defensively which he can do at AAA. There probably won't be a ton of ABs for the bench guys so it's fine to put non prospects like Collins and Capra in those roles.

    Yes, I would say Bauers is better than Hoskins but Canha is generally slightly below average. Bauers is rated (from what I have seen) as worse.

    I will piggyback off of this and say that all teams/cities should have a shot of hosting the Super Bowl.

    We do know that Bauers doesn't hit RHP well nor does he play good defense or add value on the bases right? If the option is Bauers or Canha, it's pretty clear to me.

    Canha can hit vs LHP and. Bauers has been below replacement value for a few seasons. Can he play first and the outfield? Sure, but not well.

    Maybe we trade Freddy at the deadline if we are out of it. I would be surprised if we do it in the off-season because we likely will need quite a few starters even with him.

    Ortiz has the stronger arm so I would have thought he made more sense at shortstop regardless

    We wouldn't trade for Devers because he wants to play 3rd and he sucks at it. The moving of positions is the whole reason he is upset in the first place.

    I think our rotation has the ability to go deeper into games. Part of the equation has to be the score of the game. If it's a tight game, you would be more willing to go to the bullpen. If not, let that starter eat more innings.
