    For the guys talking about Williams being a Durbin clone... if you can get a guy that can play SS, 2nd, and CF and put up his stats, that is a good piece to pickup. As someone that has been pushing for someone that can be versatile in a Chris Taylor kind of way, Williams would be excellent. This team needs to limit ABs for the likes of Capra, Berroa, Dunn in future seasons. They also need to give their regulars more rest so they don't run of out steam in the playoffs.

    I get why Tong is a no go but Sproat and Williams seems pretty reasonable. I haven't done a major deep dive into Sproat but I'm not seeing the reason for hype on the surface

    Not super motivated to trade Peralta to the Dodgers but if they insist.... Dodgers: Peralta (BTV: 26) Brewers: River Ryan (BTV: 14.7) Alex Freeland (BTV: 5.2) Mike Sirota (BTV: 21.4) Would the Dodgers do it? Probably not. Do I really want to trade them Freddy? No.

    What company in the world would ever cover the costs for something that will be replaced in at least 30 years? The cost to remove and dispose is pretty minimal anyways. Even after 20 years, they should still be 90% as efficient according to the presentation I was given and what search tells me. Feel free to show me some specific math where this doesn't make sense which I think you are trying to imply here.

    They did an ROI calculation on the presentation. It looks like it will be paid for itself within 6-7 years. The warranty is 25 years and the life expectancy is 30 but that just means it won't be as efficient but will still produce energy.

    I think the idea behind pitching is looking towards the future. We have a ton of hitters about to hit AAA that have a real shot at being MLB regulars. We have learned how many pitchers we need to get through a season and while we have some promising arms, our "next wave" is mostly in A ball.

    I guess I am less worried about getting guys that could help us this year. Get the best players available. There are lots of interesting players left in free agency that we could maybe dip into with that money.

    He struggled mightily on the defensive end in 2025. They might move him to CF.
