  1. With the injuries to Ashby and Hall, Alexander is firmly on the OD roster
  2. I am continuing my dollar cost averaging because I will won't attempt to time the market. I have a longer timeline so what the market is doing now isn't a super big deal one way or the other. The stock market cratering is probably the only way for things to be adjusted here.
  3. We need a right handed heavy bench. If you look at the left handed hitting starters, three of them struggle against LHP. I doubt it will happen, but I hope they do a lot of soft platoons to take advantage of matchups.
  4. Hudson will have to be managed a little better in 2025. I like the 2 inning appearances but they will need to give him enough days off and I wouldn't be opposed to a couple of planned options to AAA for rest.
  5. Quintana is getting paid 2 mil this year with 2 mil deferred to 2026. 15 mil mutual option for 2026.
  6. Can we at least wait until the season starts for all of these injuries?
  7. I don't like the Dunn/McGehee comp because Dunn is actually very athletic and "tooled" up. McGehee was a lumbering dude at third. They both are unheralded prospects I suppose.
  8. ST stats don't mean much to me.
  9. Yikes is all I'm gonna say....
  10. Hopefully some of these guys have good life skills because being a professional baseball player isn't their long term future.
  11. Hitters: Chourio, Yelich, Contreras, Mitchell, Hoskins, Frelick, Ortiz, Dunn, Turang, Haase, Durbin, Canha, Capra Pitchers: Peralta, Cortes, Civale, Quintana, Myers, Megill, Payamps, Ashby, Koenig, Thomas, Uribe, Mears, Alexander Uribe serves his suspension when he shouldn't be needed. DL Hall takes his spot when he is ready to go.
  12. It's bizarre to watch such bad defense after watching the big league team the last few years.
  13. Comparing last years OD rotation to this years is pretty eye opening. 24: Freddy, Rea, Hall, Junis, Ross 25: Freddy, Cortes, Civale, Quintana, Myers
  14. Very unlikely that Yoho makes the OD roster. There will be injuries and overwork that will get Yoho to the big club for sure in 2025.
  15. Great signing! This should let us bring Woody along slowly and then go with a 6 man rotation if everyone is healthy or a 5 man if they aren't.
  16. I had so many people say Severance was great last year. My GF and I gave it so many episodes but just couldn't get into it.
  17. I would say the system is pretty balanced but still would say there is a decent need for additional starting pitching depth. That probably isn't as important for us versus other teams because we seem to develop other team's failed prospects.
  18. I'd still sign Iglesias and have him play all over the infield minus 1B.
  19. Turang should firmly be the 9th batter in our lineup. No reason whatsoever to have him lead off.
  20. I used to be the biggest Mitchell fan on here, I guess not.... Anymore
  21. Quintana is the move. Especially since we have reportedly been interested this off-season and pretty much every season for a while
  22. If we have payroll room left and want to spend it on pitching, my number one choice is by far Quintana
