    From what I have seen as a non subscriber, Crochet is 61.1 Mitchell is 10.8 Patrick is very minimal (usually guys like him are under 1.0) Black is 13.3 So that trade isn't in the ballpark according to BTV

    You would have to get the Jays to pay probably 5+ million next year to make it work. They would also have to take a lottery ticket back for this to make sense. Bassitt has negative trade value. If they would do that, we should be interested.

    AM is fine. Our infielders are either young or never take a day off. I would save our resources to invest in a quality rental starting pitcher.

    Black shouldn't be traded for a rental (Kikuchi) and I don't know what else Toronto has available that would make sense for our roster.

    Seems like there should be some interesting Day 3 guys available at least.

    It is shaping up to have multiple guys that should go multiple innings which I like. You have Hudson and Hall from the left side and Junis and Wilson from the right. I hope this is the plan and I am surprised other teams haven't tried it.

    I think there is some ambiguity on this. From what I understand, the team would be taking a risk offering less than 75% of the slot value but there is nothing saying there wasn't something negotiated and accepted below that. Payne could play hardball and demand that amount. That would be a great way for an agent to lose any relationship with teams however.

    I wouldn't put any of the guys drafted so far in our top 10 prospects list. I don't know if that is a sign of our system or the quality of this draft or both.

    We really don't have much for 1st base prospects so this does fill a need I suppose.
