    Question on the 01 Jenkins- the picture here has 'Piggly Wiggly' on the base, while I just bought one with Pepsi on the base- were there two identical bobbles produced for the 01's with different sponsors? Also, any hope of getting the 08 bobbles listed? I saw a regular Braun for 45 bucks today and that seemed absurd to me, but I haven't been tracking it.

Ok, I understand that you're upset about potentially false allegations that were made about you here, but these types of personal attacks are not allowed on the site. And comptixking, if you have issues with sushirunner from here or elsewhere, they need to be taken up with him in private, not made via accusations on this board.

    Getting better? At what? Scrabble? Rickie had a .769 OPS in July- certainly not world beating by any stretch of the imagination, but he was indeed better.

    Pedro- did you have to provide the items for them to sign, or was that included in the price? IE, if Namath signed an 8x10 or Jets helmet, I'm assuming you had to bring it?

    I think it's a problem with charter, burnie. The same sites I was having trouble with last night also were a problem on my laptop (hence, not a problem with a specific CPU), but had no problems at all loading on my cell. I couldn't even bring up the hotmail page last night, but both that and yahoo are working ok this morning.

    Glad to hear I wasn't the only one really struggling yesterday- the others with problems wouldn't be using Charter, by chance? Everything seems back to normal this morning.

    Kendall's been a bust offensively. Considering how low the expectations were for him offensively, I don't think he's a bust. Everyone was more or less expecting him to be pretty bad at the plate.

    It's an entirely valid historical reference to hubris and defeatism. The Brits were hardly licked, as Dunkirk showed. It may indeed have been unfair of me to call it invalid. But the point about relevance on this forum stands.

    These are the same front-running people who mobbed the streets with Nazi flags when Kesselring declared the British Expeditionary Forces destroyed at Dunkirk. I don't see how that comparison is valid or appropriate on this site at all.

    I was trying to establish the fact that baseball games have a lot of little bloop type hits and grounders that barely make it through a hole. This is the vent thread, which is not really the place to do so. People are allowed to come here and vent their frustrations about the game, not have a discussion about luck.

    Torres is struggling with his command big-time, and this is the first time he's really had that problem all year. Picked a heck of a time to have it be an issue.
