    to be honest, I think it might make more sense to decline the option, then offer arbitration. If he wants to stay, then he does. If he wants the 2-3 year contract he'll be offered elsewhere, then we'll get some draft picks I was under the impression that if you decline an option you can't offer arby. That could be wrong, but that's always what I've thought. If not, I agree with you. The Brewers' dream scenario in LF is probably Jenkins to Laporta in 09, much like it was supposed to be Koskie to Braun in 07/08.

    False. 90% of the people at the ballpark wouldn't even know it's there, and if they do, the majority doesn't realize it's barley. The Brewers have tried to distance themselves from Brewing in the past (bernie's mug), and the current jerseys/logo preceded Miller Park.

    Didn't Ramon Sessions and Nevada play the Badgers sometime this...in the tourny?... and didn't he play fabulous? I seem to remeber listening to a Nevada/Wisconsin game and Sessions play amazing. I could be wrong, im not a big basketball fan. The Badgers played Nevada-Las Vegas, not Nevada in the Tourney this year.

    Carlos Lee was offered a 4 year, 51 million dollar deal by the Brewers (that's before the insane offseason market was set), and not only did he blow them off, Carlos and his representation didn't even bother to counter-offer. I have no problem with people booing Carlos Lee.

    Um, wow. This is going to get a lot more interesting and creepy, if that was possible. Atlanta station WSB-TV has obtained a photo that was snapped by a wrestling fan at Astin's office just hours before his death. The fan who took the picture described Benoit as soft-spoken and "nice."     Don't we have a ton of arms for the rotation as is that we can't find places for? While Hughes could be a good talent, I can't see why trading a key piece of our young offense that has struggled to score runs quite a bit this year for a young pitcher helps the team in the near future.

    Yeah, plenty of people not on steroids do crap like this. Just because steroids were there doesn't mean they were involved in the least. And wwe.com now has Benoit's text messages to WWE staff from like 3 am Sunday morning on their article, along with a timeline of events that the WWE staff were aware of.
