  1. Capuano never used to suck this bad. Our SP's have been horrific the last few weeks.
  2. Get him the hell out of there. Double to the freaking pitcher.....
  3. Maybe Cappy didn't 'hit the wall' in Washington, maybe he just stinks. Pitiful starting pitching lately.
  4. Braun is a more amazing hitter than any of us ever could have dreamed.... and he's only our for 6 1/2 more seasons.....
  5. Or the Fab 5 Michigan Wolverines, who never won a game from like 1992-1994?
  6. Anvils? How much does the shipping cost on something like that? Yikes.
  7. Carl Crawford turns 26 in less than a month, so I don't see how he was 23 last season. Gah, yeah, 24. Jenkins had already had 2 900+ OPS seasons by the age Crawford is now. Well, the 2nd season was the season Crawford is currently in.
  8. Crawford currently has a 781 OPS, and his career high is 830. Jenkins has a career 848 OPS Crawford's "career high" happened last year at age 23. Jenkins is 32. How much longer is Jenkins' career OPS relevant when he's to be expected to decline and has put up a .791 OPS last year and .825 so far this year?
  9. Now confirmed to be her, per WISC. www.channel3000.com/news/...etail.html
  10. Ortiz lives in the Fox River Valley during the offseason, I believe.
  11. Not being able to play the outfield doesn't stop Mench from playing out there.
  12. Perhaps they go on other evidence first, then use the cell phone when other means are exhausted? If that's the case, they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves, as the first few hours/days are crucial in terms of missing persons, and this was over two weeks later.
  13. It doesn't weaken the Brewers if it's coupled with a Gwynn for Otsuka-type deal, as Jarrod would be a nice upgrade from Mench as the LHP part of the LF platoon. Definitely strengthens the offense this year and going forward.
  14. Again, why does employee automatically = man?
  15. Cordero would be a very nice acquisition if we've soured on Otsuka due to injury.
  16. The team doesn't need another lefty bat like Stairs, though.
  17. We're tied for the best record in the NL... what are we "fixing"?
  18. It doesn't really remove the small market thing, unless a whole bunch of those new fans suddenly move to the Milwaukee Metro area.
  19. It's exciting to think that someone from the Brewers is bound to have significant impact on the game tomorrow night. JJ walk-off with CoCo locking down the save? That's not possibly, FWIW.
  20. They probably should have sent someone to throw to Prince that had actually thrown to him before. He clearly wanted the ball in, and Guerrero kept throwing them out.
  21. 6HR is an automatic ticket to the 2nd round.
  22. When 4 hitters have hit, including Morneau and Pujols, and your leader is Matt Holiday with 5, you've got to think the stage is set for Prince and Howard to put on a show.
  23. And now let's ruin Pujol's time up with AROD. Jeez ESPN, we don't give a crap.... let us watch the derby and shut up!
  24. How nice of ESPN to totally bury Magglio's performance with Bonds crap.... not that Mags did much worth note, but come on.
  25. Yeah, when a massive thread like Morneau puts up 4, that makes me happy. Of course, it also means Prince will hit like 3.
