    How "the doorman" didn't set Guillen off is beside me. I was waiting for him to lose it there too. Maybe Jose realized that he was lucky that Schrieber hadn't already tossed him.

    Seems like Katin might be next in line for promotion to WV. The Power must be thrilled that they're being loaded up for the second half, with more help in the wings.

    So begins our 2nd half spiral. Usually it starts in early July in Pittsburgh, it appears that it's started in Florida and will continue in Atlanta. Anyone want to bet against them being 12 games under .500 by the deadline?

    Yup. 5 complete innings = whole game, unless home team is leading, then 4.5 = game. As I understand it, the only way 4.5 = game is if the home team hasn't taken any AB's in the bottom of the 5th. If the game is suspended, it would go back to the score after the Brewers AB's which was 3-3, so no way this game can be called, IIRC.

    And again Jenkins airmails everyone, allowing the runner to move to 2nd. Come on ump, call the fricking delay... gee, I wonder why all these throws are so erratic and balls are going everywhere.

    Looks like we're headed for a rain delay in the near future.

    And yet another easy double play ball that we can't turn over. For all the criticism about Weeks' defense, it seems like the thing he struggles with the most is the turn of double plays.

    We might be the worst defensive team in baseball. Another couple of crappy plays costs us a run. But defense doesn't matter, right? Heh.
