  1. Atta boy Mark!!
  2. I really hope they start McClung on Saturday and move Bush to Sunday. CC doesn't look too sharp today and has thrown few fastballs. He may be a horse but he's a tired horse.
  3. Season one got me hooked on the show, but even last year it was hard to follow. I'm not really sure what's going on right now and am not sure the writers know either.
  4. How is that not interference on Morgan?
  5. With that many 3TO scented bobbleheads in one location, every woman and stathead in the greater Milwaukee area will be drawn to Miller Park.
  6. The Return of 3TO Russell Branyan along with Yovani Gallardo activated from the DL. It's gonna be a good night.
  7. Cubs Win!!! Cubs Win!!!
  8. Jason Marquis!!!
  9. It's possible. Say we sweep the NLCS and win the World Series in five games. If it happens does BCU get the keys to the site for a day?
  10. I wouldn't want to pitch CC on three days rest twice again. Go with him on Thursday, and pitch him on three days rest on Monday if necessary. Dave Bush has been throwing the ball well and would go on regular rest on Sunday. The big question marks are Gallardo, Suppan, and McClung. Can Gallardo start? Do we risk trotting Soup out there again? Do we risk another short outing from McClung? I think if Gallardo is ready, you pitch him on Wednesday. And since McClung + DiFelice > Suppan imo, start McClung on Saturday. So we'd have: Pittsburg Tuesday - Bush Pittsburg Wednesday - Gallardo Pittsburgh Thursday - Sabathia Cubs Friday - Sheets Cubs Saturday - McClung Cubs Sunday - Bush Mets Monday? - Sabathia
  11. Maybe we'll finish 8-1 in the playoffs.
  12. We do strike out a lot, but looking at the numbers, does it really matter? There is no correlation between K's and runs scored. Some teams like the Padres this season, do K a lot and score few runs, but other teams do not follow this trend. The Brewers are 4th in K's and 6th in runs scored in the NL. The Dodgers are 13th in K's (173 fewer than Brewers), and 13th in runs scored (58 fewer than Brewers). Now part of the Dodgers lack of runs could be due to playing in pitchers parks, but look at the Astros (11th in K's), (11th in runs scored), and they play in a hitters park. There is however, a correlation between ops. and runs scored. So really, it doesn't matter if your team srikes out a lot or not. If they have a high ops., they're going to score a lot of runs.
  13. I think they'd rather play the Dodgers, who will probably have a worse record than the wildcard team.
  14. If Gallardo is available to start, I'd love to pencil him in Soup's spot on Thursday. Get him a start before the playoffs.
  15. Yeah, go Cubbies!!! Lets get some Cubs mojo going. http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i283/Giffted/GoatHunt.jpg
  16. Brewers win as the Braves tie it up. There's still hope.
  17. It seems like an eternity since I've seen a sac bunt followed by a sac fly to score a run for the Brewers.
  18. Desperate times call for desperate measures. And by the looks of the "are you really done with the season" thread, there aren't too many people left to care anyway.
  19. No vibes at all. Maybe a day without an IGT can save the season.
  20. Gwynn, you idiot. Quit trying to get a hit, just get it down.
  21. Alright Rick!!! There's a start. And Kendall bats...
