For me, 1250am. A lot of the call in people are.. special. But I like Tim Allen (Not a big fan of Sparky) but since they aren't as close to the organization like 620am is, they seem to touch the hard bruttle truth instead of the company line like 620 has a tendency to. The FSN postgame is pretty worthless, unless Trenni is in something cute!

Not on weekday games. Get into the lot some time around 6 - 6:30. That's enough time to split a 6 pack on the way to the door. Generally speaking if I go multiple times a week I'll just pick up a sub/soda before heading to the park. If they change the policy, looks like McDonalds. Then I'll sue the Brewers for clogged arteries, with the settlement I can afford to eat Ballpark food.

Ohhh and if they claim that this is due to delays getting in. How about not build a huge store closing an additional walk in area? That might totally have helped. Or perhaps build a wider entrance area ontop of the current ones.

Lame. I usually eat something at the game during weekdays, hardly on weekends (Go tailgate!), but when I have 4 games in a week to watch, I simply can not afford to eat at the stadium. I carry in once or twice that week. I guess if they are looking to increase per-ticket revenue, it'll work. But I'd see a big backlash and people making the decision to go less.

It's interesting. As TC said it's process per tab could be a really nice feature. Google said that even if they don't get as much market penetration, they will at least influence the way browsers are developed. Look at what IE has done since Mozilla started getting market share. Tabbed browsing, Built in popup blocking, more extensions.

Zaffiros is awesome. I meet up with my cousins there a few months back, they have some very tasty pizza. Pretty tiny place. I thought they Savoy Room closed. Apparently I'm wrong. Pretty good food, but the owners a bit crazy! I had a friend who used to waitress there, told me about some of the crazy stories. I forgot a few other places that I liked. Crazy Water. For being all cooked behind a bar, it's very elegant and very very good. The Social is also pretty good, but you have to be willing to try American Hip Fusion, as that's the only way I can explain it. Jeffh: I used to work for Jakes, at the location in Wauwatosa, and part time out in Brookfield. It's transformed, thank god, since they let the younger generation run it. It was far to stuck in the old school steak house, and Jake let her daughter and husband run it. They did a great job of bringing it out of the 70s, but Jake Sr didn't like it. I think about 5 years ago Sr sold it to Jake Jr and now he's the guy that runs it. Personally I think he's a prick. But he makes pretty good food. If you want a real treat, drive up to Kohler and go to the Immigrant Room and have the tasting menu. Back when I was married I had my anniversary there, went and had my first Sweetbread. I had no idea what it was, and when I found out I was shocked. It's hard to explain the texture, it's..... by far different. The Palms in the 3rd Ward has fantastic food. It's a casual place, owned by the same person that owns the City Markets. Great food, laid back atmosphere. And they have paintings of monkeys on the walls. They do need to know how to spell Creme Fraiche though.. few times it was written on the board out side as Creme Fresh. Oops. I'll have to check out Carnivore. I heard bad reviews from a friend, but she went right after they opened. Could be opening week jitters.

I know the STBs had 1080i out, but I think it depends on the channel for 1080 or 720. But the bigger problem is that they compress it down, so you'll see some pixelization and artifacts on your bigger TVs. I only have a small HD TV, so it wasn't very noticeable.

We've had a series of break ins over the past year. One, the person broke in, disabled the alarm system (Some how), then proceeded to dismantle and pull all the 220 volt copper wire from the entire plant. This went un-noticed for 2 weeks. By the time someone went to check on the plant, they removed $180,000 worth of scrap metal and copper wire. This also caused the entire heating system to go down, thankfully none of the pipes broke, but we were just lucky. This is in Menomonee Falls, so it's a bit of surprise, as it's a run down building. Probably was a inside job, from someone who used to work with us. They went as far as pulling all the cable from inside 6000 volt transformers. It was crazy. There is the liability issue, plant used to do metal stamping, so there are press pits. About I'd say 20 - 30 feet tall, someone falls it in it, it's our fault. Same with extremely high voltage to feed the inside substations. Plus when you show someone a building full of spray paint, your estimated value goes down a bit. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif They did also break some windows, cut some chains on fences, graffiti so it wasn't harmless. The plants alarm system was just recently restored after 2 weeks of it being off (some boxes shorted causing false alarms), probably why the kids didn't care about the alarm going off. . They probably were a bunch of kids just looking to go play spin the bottle or some crazy thing. But then give yourself up, and this probably would have all just gone away. But wasting resources for 6 hours is lame. We also used to have a plant on 62nd and State. When we closed it, we sold it to a developmental company. They transformed the back parking lot into a walgreens, well there was tons of contaminated dirt temporarily put inside the plant until we finished corporate operations at the front. Well the inside of the plant had zero motion sensors, and after Corporate moved out, and before the developer started working on a new site. A bunch of kids found a broken window (or broke it) and proceeded to build an entire skate park and bmx park from the dirt and all the empty space. To bad they didn't know the dirt had toxin in it.

No. They compress to about 2-4mbit stream, while TWC/DISH HD streams are about 5 - 10mbit (Depending on source). The compression is supposed to be very similar to the compression of DISH Networks. They are supposedly rolling out new codecs and increasing bandwidth from the VDSL unit. From what I understand they are looking at a roll out to the increase overall bandwidth to the premise up to 250mbit, which hopefully will decrease HD compression and improve quality. HD Quality and # of streams is what's causing UVerse to be adopted slower, I honestly hope they fix it. Anything to increase competiton to crap cable monopolies. I also heard they rolled out this week, all room DVR and HD oOn Demand (Only 1 movie in HD ATM though!)

I sure did not have an enjoyable evening last night. I got to sleep around 12:30am or so after watching a movie post ball game. Around 2:15am my work cell phone rings, I stumble to it, and didn't get to it in time. Look at the callerid, it's the alarm company that monitors our Menomonee Falls plant we closed last year. (Pilgrim and 45). In the past we've had plenty of false alarms due to the building being in severe disrepair. (Water leaks generally dripping on sensors tripping them). But since it was dry out, something was up. Call them, and turns out that we had a motion sensor burglary alarm go off, and the local police department was dispatched. I think I sounded like a wanker on the phone as I was pretty sleepy. But i head out, 30 minutes to cross town and get gas. I arrive on site, and there's about 4 Falls police squad cards. Lights on, and they've built a perimeter. The officers are using their PAs and that they will be unleashing a K9 unit onto the grounds. I talked to the on scene commander (Sgt. Eric) and was informed that there were 5 suspects on the premise, at least 2 inside and they have in custody 3 of the 5 (2 Girls 1 Guys b/t age of 19 and 21). Exciting. They also had 2 additional units from the Waukesha Country Sherrif department on their way, including one K9 unit. It's around 4am when the Sherrif Department arrives. They continue to broadcast surrender procedures via the loud speaker system, as they come up with a plan.; Around 4:30am they proced to clear the outside of the building with the K9 unit and a backup unit walking the perimeter. They dog hits on something on the old storage shed in the back of the building (Looks like an aircraft hanger) and the two additional dirty trespassers surrender. Around 5am. It takes till around 5:30am to actually process the punks and prepare for us to enter to check out the damage. So around 6am, we finally get into the building and check out the damage. Some spray paint, some broken windows. Nothing to bad. Around 7am we clear the building and 7:30 I get to head home.
