Not really. No one left to pitch. Can't believe Burnes can't go, he didn't throw much yesterday and hardly any before. Game will probably be over soon enough anyway as Lopez can't be perfect forever and the offense can't get out of it's own way.

Offense has no one to blame but themselves for how tired they're going to be tomorrow.

Mattingly snuffed out that bluff pretty easily.

Looked safe to me. I don't have the luxury of DVR anymore but on the one replay they showed definitely looked like the ball hit the glove before the foot hit the bag. At least when I looked.

I thought that was ridiculous too. He started off the inning talking about how Lopez can't throw hard and kept just digging himself a bigger hole talking about it.

Had the L/R matchup in 3 straight ABs and Conley made them all look ridiculous.

Extra innings before a flight to Pittsburgh and 5 games in 4 days is less than ideal, but I'll take it over losing in 9. So let's win this in the 10th.

Seriously, where would this offense be without Aguilar? Or Yelich? Or Cain? Added 3 All star hitters to our lineup this year. We should be better than we are offensively.

Thames is a really underrated guy at the plate.

I don't think anyone in the NL can. The ALCS is the de facto World Series this year. Sounds like a perfect reason not to give up top prospects for Machado... Well you're taking everything and reducing it to a 7 game series where anything can happen, I don't agree that the AL is a cinch to win it all this year. Actually the NL is finally getting the edge in interleague play this year. Also even if you're talking about just getting to the WS, I would probably give up Woodruff + Phillips + Diplan for instance to make that happen. Regardless this game and one of many stinkfests this year by the offense is not making me want Machado in the lineup less.

Why would you run with the tying run at the plate against a guy who can't be run on with a guy who isn't a basestealer? Just stupid.
