  1. Does Santana not realize how dangerously close he probably is to actually playing his home games for Colorado Springs?
  2. Behave. Overreact much? If you hate overreactionary 'in the moment' highs and lows, especially in Brewers/Cubs series', IGTs probably aren't the place for you.
  3. Oh good, Knebel doesn't have it tonight either. Glad we burned Jeffress in the 8th for no apparent reason last night.
  4. Middle infielders do that countless times a day across the league. Villar has been pretty darn mistake free all year. So no, he isn’t really that guy this year. However because of 2016 he will always be assumed as that guy whether he makes those mistakes once a day or once a year. It isn't just on defense. Sometimes its something like not running out a long fly and ending up on 2nd when he should have been on 3rd. And yes, it's not always just him, Shaw has had a few untimely errors this year. But guys like Hader and Shaw more than compensate in overall production.
  5. If Villar makes the play on D that he should than the single isn't an RBI single. And no one is excusing Hader. Didn't pitch well tonight. However, overall he's obviously contributed to a lot more wins.
  6. For those who constantly defend Villar, that right there is exactly why people don't like him. Because he is exactly the guy that most people would pick 9 out of 10 times to screw up something small and stupid like that that doesn't show up in the box score and ends up costing us the game. I've defended him and I've criticized him. But he is 'that' guy.
  7. Start off an inning with a double in a game like this, have to do the things necessary to get him in. Just have to do better than that. 2 runs may not win this.
  8. Braun not lending too much credence to the 'bad defensive LFer' metrics tonight or yesterday.
  9. We play the Cubs 19 times this year and are currently on pace to beat them twice. Regardless of the in your head or not, what I do know is that if you go 2-17 against your main rival you have basically no chance to beat them.
  10. So tired of getting our stadium infested by Cub fans and pushed around by their team all season long. Get some runs and stop making Quintana look like the greatest pitcher of all time every time we face him!
  11. Kratz says 'Quintana dominates us? I don't know anything about that. I just got here.'
  12. Hitting into a double play every inning not a good way to get to Quintana. Thought Villar would easily beat that relay with his speed.
  13. You know there's a lot of Cub fans there when a Cub (Contreras) hits a total can of corn to center and the crowd erupts like it's headed for the center of the scoreboard.
