It’s not that there’s anything wrong with him. It’s just historical precedent in how we operate. We will move on a year early rather than get only the QO pick in return. It won’t be a monster truck haul. It will be something that is underwhelming to us but they like (see Burnes, Corbin).

I think he’s a good pitcher. I just think with one year left on his deal, the way they operate, they will probably trade him in the offseason.

Almost guarantee he will be in the offseason. One year left on his deal. Good value. Lot of historical precedence. I think they will, and that’s ok. I definitely will wish him the best. I assume he’s the longest tenured guy here besides Yelich. Well, Woodruff too although he technically wouldn’t count because he was non tendered and a free agent.

Yeah I know it’s spur of the moment thinking, but Caleb should have stepped on 3rd. No harm, no foul. I thought that drive by Murphy was trouble.

I think stepping on 3rd was the choice for Durbin to make there and the only shot at turning two.

Pretty pointless to throw to 1st when you’re just going to walk him over to 2nd on the next pitch anyway.
