  1. Well, I base him sucking more on his poor performance and abandunce of walks this season more than just his performance tonight. He hasn't pitched badly tonight, but last inning was him letting a team back into the game with lack of control again. So the whole season, it's just that the umpires haven't given him the corners? I just don't buy that.
  2. Man...what happened to the Davis of 03-04? Just when they were talking big contract extension, too...(sigh)..I just can't figure it out. Giving up runs like that just kills me. I'd much rather see Pujols hit a solo moonshot to left field rather than finding a way to give up a run without evening allowing a hit.
  3. Urghh...way to start off the inning with 2 straight walks, Doug. Now Carpenter can bunt them over and a basehit gives them 2 runs that they didn't even have to work for. Does it upset you to work with a lead??
  4. I'm happy about the win, but man, we cannot continue to live on the edge like this all the time.
  5. WOW. We won. But should it really be THAT hard to protect a big late lead??
  6. Win or lose, I don't think we can keep this closer role thing going for Turnbow for the rest of the year. What good is it having a closer if any margin less than 3 runs is going to end up being a nailbiter?
  7. And D-Bow walks him... Derrick, if you blow this, objects are going to go flying around this room pretty quickly.
  8. Holy crap...no..just please...no...we cannot possibly blow a 4 run lead in the 9th...can we??
  9. Alright, point taken. Still, I expect a lot better production than this from Jenkins. Doesn't look like that annual "tear" he usually goes on is coming. And yes, he should absolutely be sitting against lefties.
  10. Jenks is hovering around .250 with little power and he is one of Yost's favorites. Hart has a decent sample size of well over .300 now but "it's just not his time." Interesting.
  11. 1-2-3 for T'Bow in the 9th. You can't do much but laugh.
  12. Just for irony sake, Turnbow will mow down the Pirates in order this inning, with 2 K's. Book it.
  13. Gross swung at Ball 4. Guess I shouldn't really be counting on a rally anyway. Folks, this is a painful realization, but this is just not a very good baseball team.
  14. Well, that should do it. Another great game blown by (insert name who comes in for starter) What a complete waste. This team should be contending for the playoffs, but it's just not going to happen this year. They can't hold down teams late in the game.
  15. Not many teams have a bullpen that is complete garbage like the Brewers have.
  16. And that kind of crap, right there, is why we lose most of our games.
  17. . Well, I hope it doesn't happen tonight, because they're playing the Reds.
  18. Horrible AB's by Hall and Miller. Neither did anything to help pick Sheets up. Frustrating.
  19. C'mon Prince...don't let this great start go to waste...
  20. Bush in the pen again!!! LOL....
  21. Shoot, now what?? Ben is dealing right now but only 6 pitches away from his ceiling. What to do?
  22. 63 pitches thru 6 for Snell. We are sure making him labor.
  23. I don't know what it is, but it sure seems like Gross struggles big-time when he leads off. I haven't looked up anything statistical to back this up, but it sure seems like it.
