    Every baserunner when Hoskins is up at the plate runs with the motivated terror of a man who knows he'll be the first out of a double play if he doesn't get to 2nd.

    Murphy is 1 or 2 innings away from a brutally difficult decision on Tobias Myers that may be subject to much second guessing.

    I think the issue with it right now is that you're taking the bat out of the hands of one of hottest hitter who could just as easily take out one.

    There's a lot of times I think where they show it for a pitch or two with no real intent to do it. I don't mind that. Keep them guessing.

    Turang has had a really nice offensive series. Didn't get on there, but you can't ask for much better contact on a lefty/lefty matchup.

    Hoskins is going to be back next year too, there's just no way around it because of the player option, but the roster spots of Bauers and Monasterio need to be upgraded.

    There are only two ex-Brewers I feel deserve to feel the hate and the booing from the fans every time they show their faces back here. One was the long-since retired Gary Sheffield. The other is Jesse Winker.
