  1. You can’t keep issuing leadoff walks and expect to get back in this game.
  2. Not having anyone in the organization that they deem an upgrade over him is insanity. He’s not an MLB player. He never has been. It’s not like he’s a scuffling player who has had success elsewhere.
  3. Ehh, I can’t blame the unearned runs on him but he looked cooked that inning. He was nowhere near the zone.
  4. I know the runs weren’t technically Priester’s fault, but he couldn’t find the strike zone at all and they really helped him out. He was lucky to get out of that inning only down 3-0.
  5. Pretty much every sport has evolved in the name of player safety over the last 25-30 years. Wasn’t that many years ago when you’d watch an NFL game and hear the phrase, “Oh, he just got his bell rung, he’ll be back out there.” Sir, he literally sustained a brain injury.
  6. With this lineup not even worthy of being called a Sunday lineup that Murphy trotted out there today, 3 runs feels like a lot.
  7. Haase really having himself a last 3 minutes.
  8. Safe. It’s not bang-bang, Bill. Clearly safe.
  9. At the risk of sounding cold or callous, "good guy" is much further down on the list than "good player" for the qualities I look for in an MLB player.
  10. He's an atrociously bad MLB hitter, so that result would always surprise me.
  11. When you have a rally going with 1st and 2nd and 1 out and Vinny Capra struts up to the plate:
  12. Megill isn’t pitching well, but he’s absolutely getting squeezed by this umpire. This should already be a K.
  13. We play over our heads most seasons. Credit to the organization for that. We are long overdue for a 80 win type season that is more reflective of our talent level. This might be that season.
  14. He doesn’t contribute anything here, ever, other than insult other posters, and frankly, I’m surprised it’s still tolerated.
  15. Oh, but you have read them before. A lot. You whine in them constantly about people whining. I didn’t even need to look at the poster name to know who wrote the above messsge.
  16. The only positive I can say about Doc is that the players apparently respect him enough to not just phone it in tonight. But man alive, as a X’s and O’s basketball guy, he is absolute dogwater.
  17. Looks like they’ll lose, but they WERE up by 20 at one point. Does that count?
  18. Taking last shot with too much time for it to be last shot and giving up last shot on the other end instead is a perfect way to end that quarter.
  19. No Lillard for the foreseeable future means downgrade the Bucks from a 5/6 seed to a play-in tournament team indefinitely. The fall has been swift.
  20. I haven’t heard ACL. I heard Achilles.
  21. Didn’t we win that useless NBA cup thing a few months ago? At least there’s that.
  22. So much for Dame returning helping us in any way. He may have torn his Achilles. Being a fan of this team sure is fun.
  23. Man, I have a special nostalgia for the Brewers of 20 years ago. I think I may have enjoyed them more than any other team in my life. Weeks was here, Hardy was here, Prince was starting to get here. Braun was drafted. The foundation was being laid. The team won 81 games which was seen as a monumental accomplishment at that time. You knew they weren’t quite there yet, because the pitching wasn’t quite there but there was a buzz finally that hadn’t been seen in forever. Miller Park was still very new. It was essentially the beginning of the post-Selig era. Everything was very exciting.
