  1. You can 100% come out and say something about it, and they can huddle and change it if it’s wrong. It wasn’t a “well there’s nothing they’re going to do” situation. He just didn’t notice.
  2. Then that’s on Murphy. He could have said something.
  3. Unless the runner was assisted it’s considered incidental contact and it’s not as big of a deal as Bill and Brian are making it out to be.
  4. Hated the mid inning hook. I don’t know why that’s Murphy’s new “‘must do” thing.
  5. Thanks for costing Crow a win in his debut, Zerpa.
  6. So unimpressed with Zerpa as a Brewer so far.
  7. I thought it was 15 rows deep at least. I really want to see Crow get the W. He deserves it.
  8. A single would’ve been just fine. Sometimes guys get too overeager.
  9. I mean Sanchez is no slouch. Definitely been one of our best hitters.
  10. Gotta hope Megill and Uribe are in for some positive regression, or it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
  11. So ironic coming from the guy who literally contributes nothing other than thumbs downing comment after comment.
  12. Gotta get Coleman the win. Hope the pen can hold.
  13. I guess my speculative answer to this would be they simply don’t have any better available options, so I would guess they’re going to be waiting until Pratt is ready. If late July rolls around and they’re in clear buy mode, Ortiz is still completely unplayable and Pratt just looks overmatched at AAA, I could see a small move for some rental infielder. But even if that comes to fruition, it’s months out.
  14. It’s why he’s the MVP of the team and I don’t think it’s close. We may never know how much of a difference he makes for the pitching staff.
  15. He’d be on Joe Morgan’s short list for Cy Young.
  16. That’s gutting out a series as much as you’ll ever see. We’re not back on track, but I’ll take it for now. Sproat’s performance is probably more exciting than the win itself… if he can put it together …(his stuff does play, that’s for sure), this rotation could be much deeper than expected, especially when Priester returns.
  17. Bauers, come on man. Big insurance run on 2nd. At least take the bat off your shoulders.
  18. Megill needed that inning in the worst possible way.
  19. I know that you’re a smarter poster than using a tiny sample size of an outdated stat to determine a players’ MLB roster worthiness. Lockridge is 29 years old and has 209 big league plate appearances. Half have been with us. He has almost 2500 minor league PAs. He is the very definition of a minor league journeyman. He’s gotten some opportunities here because of injuries and guys like Perkins suddenly falling off a cliff. On a healthy, good MLB roster, he’s not a regular 4th outfielder.
  20. A mediocre 12 foot bunt may be Joey’s best offensive play of the season right there.
  21. Jones had a good bunt. Hamilton’s was a little better.
