  1. Yeah, I like the system. It’s not perfect but at least gives the hitter, catcher and pitcher some recourse to fix bad calls instead of just arguing about them. It’s not very disruptive to the game IMO.
  2. If Megill is warming, we should have pushed Sproat through 8.
  3. “Milwaukee has two challenges remaining” Umpire going to be hearing this in his sleep tonight.
  4. Yeah, I just don’t really agree at all. Where was he before we traded for him last year? The minors. Pre August 2025 Blake Perkins was a 4th OF type. Had Perkins not somehow turned into a complete pumpkin since then, Lockridge would still be behind him. He's a replacement level player with a career OPS that would make Joey Ortiz blush. His defense and baserunning are passable enough for him play at this level if injuries necessitate it. He’s not a 4th outfielder that a contending team shouldn’t be actively looking to replace.
  5. agreed with most of this but Lockridge, for all intents and purposes, is a minor league level talent masquerading as an MLB player.
  6. Completely agree, dude deserves a shot. It’s not like there’s a lot of upside in the guys ahead of him.
  7. Well they better get started then, it’s already the 4th inning.
  8. This lineup is horrific for any era. Keep in mind that Patrick Corbin was on his couch without a job two weeks ago.
  9. Lockridge leading off is about as unserious as you can get setting a lineup.
  10. Rengifo can’t hit, but at least he’s got that wicked range at 1B.
  11. That’s about the best you’re ever going to get out of Rengifo.
  12. Going to be a lot of head tapping today if the zone is as bad all game as it was so far.
  13. Should, that 5-9 in the lineup looks like quite the murderers’ row.
  14. Luis Lara has to be so dang close to making his MLB debut. I hope he gets a shot.
  15. A win today was little more than the baseball gods finally saying “you know what, you guys deserve a break.” But sometimes, that’s the kind of thing in this weird game to start getting things turned around again.
  16. I figured even Sanchez reaches on that… that man is slowwwww. But we don’t play him for his speed.
  17. Pat Murphy’s’ kids watching from home begging the Brewers to get some offense going so they don’t have to change out of their jammies and board an Uber to AmFam in an hour.
  18. Hanging slider right down the middle and he grounds to short.
  19. And we just took out one of the guys who can actually hit. I’d rather stick with Mitchell lefty/lefty every time if the alternative bat is Blake Perkins.
  20. That was a bad move by Murphy that worked out from a results standpoint.
  21. He was only at 81 pitches. The way this bullpen has been pitching I’d have tried to push him into the 8th.
