  1. Kenny [Lofton] is the other way around -- he fits the mold of a top-of-the-order guy, but he struggles defensively." Then why not put Lofton in left and Hall in center if that is the better defensive lineup? All things considered, I'd rather see Mench traded than Jenkins. Jenkins has been a Brewer for his whole career, and didn't actively do anything to destroy his standing with us.
  2. I ususally check gamespot dot com, and sometimes gameinformer dot com as well. However gameinformer is a magazine so the reviews aren't available right away since they want you to buy their magazine for the latest games.
  3. I can't wait for softball season either. Of course, playing softball now means something completely different for me.
  4. Darn it. I was hoping it was somewhere. Thanks Russ.
  5. No, pitchers who are batting with nobody on or two outs. Basically I want all the at bats where they didn't attempt a sac bunt, nor when the defence is expecting a sac bunt and has people charging.
  6. I am putting together numbers for my own analysis. Being new (as in never did an indepth one before) to baseball analysis there are still a bunch of numbers I haven't found yet. I was hoping people could point me in the right direction for the following: Ratio of what happens to GB in DP situations. (any year or years is fine) DP's, FC's, hits, etc. Ratio of GB/FB/K for all pitchers batting with nobody on or two outs. I was hoping somewhere on the internet has these numbers already corolated without me doing it by hand.
  7. You have to have a young hip GM from the northeast to be a Sabermetrics team. Otherwise you're just a team that evaluates players based on stats to field the best team you can.
  8. Milwaukee Brewer fans are the grittiest bunch of battlers you will ever find But until they find their Eye of the Lemur, they will never have the drive to be the losingist site ever. Will Troll Amnesty Day be like Halloween? Would I be able to dress up as a Troll and act like a Troll for one day without getting banned? Or will it be more like a trap where we let the Trolls back just to beat them back into the nothingness they came from? Maybe a new T-Shirt is needed: WOAH SOLVVD: We're a bunch of losers!
  9. I've got KotOR, but I thought it was really clunky.... That's because KotOR is actually a turn-based RPG disguised as an action RPG. I turned on the option to have the game pause after every round and it played even more like a turn-based. But this is from someone who's only liked one action RPG (Oblivion).
  10. Since she has a computer (obviously), she should buy Oblivion for that system. (just make sure it can support it) And might I suggest SW:KotOR (number 1 was slightly better than 2) for either computer or XBox. That game was the sole reason we got an XBox. Of course being a SW fanboy made it all the sweeter game. Until they anounce a Dragon Warrior/Quest on PS3, it will be Wii and 360 for me. Dragon Warrior with the year subsription to Nintendo Power was the first game I ever played. It hooked me on RPGs, and FF just doesn't seem as good. At first I thought the whole Revolution thing was dumb, but the more I hear about it the more I like it. I always wait until the first price drop to get consoles, though. Can't wait to play Zelda and Mario.
  11. Bottom of 7th, no one out. They should bunt with two on and Pujols up.
  12. Sweetness. My birthday is the 15th. If I can get off of work and come up with the money, I'll probably go and bring one other person.
  13. When local newscasts, like Fox 6 in Milwaukee, lead off their news with highlights of the Packer game. Or how about when they interupt the second game with a news break in which one of the stories is that the Packers won? Uh, the game was on this station an hour ago, and you can catch the score by watching this game. Anyone that thinks the Packers winning is a news story and is already watching this channel already knows. Yet despite the four highlights and talking about it for a minute durring a news break, they don't even mention the Brewers.
  14. MPS is always looking for teachers. However, one year there made me quit the profession.
  15. Some of that is from us season ticket holders. We can trade tickets in for future games, and we usually pick games we know we can't make and trade them in for bobblehead days. I have two tickets, but I usually have about five on BH days. The gut behind me will sometimes get up to 15 tickets and only bring four other people. i will flat out tell them I won't have a body and ask for a terrace back row seat.
  16. Who is doing the TV broadcast? And why is no one in the chatroom?
  17. Having to go to the ER twice in the same week. Having to schedule a spinal tap for later this week. Having to trash my plans for my future because of a sickness. Suddenly the other things that other me don't matter anymore.
  18. Well, I'm going to go walk my dog in Oblivion. Can't watch this anymore.
  19. No, he made a sliding play but had no chance of throwing the runner out and so he just stayed on the ground.
  20. Badgerfan: I predict a lot of low scoring games. Or not.
  21. 6 LOB in the first 3 innings. Bad things happen when you leave that many onbase and fail to score.
  22. G AB R H RBI Avg OBP SLG Moeller 29 98 9 18 5 .184 .231 .276 Rivera 14 42 5 13 7 .310 .341 .524 So Rivera would have to have 4 singles, 2 walks, and one double in his next 58 PA to drop his numbers down to Moellers level. That's a .089/.121/.107 level in 15 games. I'd say Rivera has been much better.
