    Can we make the IGT black, in memory of the season that could have been? I've got this sick feeling that we're not even going to make the playoffs with a 24-10 start. I don't want a win, I want to crush them. If it's not a 10 run win, I won't be impressed. At some point these players need to figure out that they need to hit to win any freaking games.

    At the last two games at The Keg they had no more ballots. Since they were giving away items and you get one ticket for 10 votes, I knew several season ticket holders that were walking home with entire boxes and coming in the next day with them all punched. My one friend came with an entire duffel bag full of them, and was mad the prize that day was a Yost signed baseball.

    Currently, I live on the street where 794 ends in Cudahy Hey, so do I. I love Sheepshead. I play every Monday at the bar after softball. Call your ace, leasters followed by a doubler, each point is a nickel. Sheepshead + Brewers > Red Delicious + Mr. Pibb

    I probably said "Winner, winner, chicken dinner" in the IGT. I say it aloud. I don't listen to 1510 so I didn't realize someone else was saying it there. I don't remember where I got it from, just kept using it.

    In Dec '05 I won an all expense paid trip to Puerto Vallarta. It included plane tickets for a direct flight from MKE, resort stay, and all food and drinks. I ended up having to pay $1000 in taxes, but it was worth it. I won it from KTI (FM sister station of the Brewers flagship station) I also won a copy of Scene It from KTI. The best thing is that I don't listen to that station ever. My mom loves that station and enters me (and herself and other family members) into that "insider" club. I remember I had a choice of 4 trip packages to try to win, and I said I didn't care. They were all to a Spanish speaking country (which I don't speak) and I didn't think I would win. She had just randomly picked that contest to enter all of my points into.

    I have 2 Tickets for June 6th. Section 104, Row 1. Right above the picnic area. I'm asking for $20 a piece obo. I will sell just one seat if you want. I have a friend that wants one seat, but thought it would be easier to unload both together. You can reply here or via pm. If nobody buys by Monday I'm selling my friend the single ticket. I also have those two tickets available for June 18th and 20th vs Barry Bonds's team. I'm selling them for $50 a piece on StubHub, but if a Bf.netter wants them for $30, just let me know and you can have them.

    Should second base play closer to the bag? Yes. When I'm out at 2nd, I make them show me they can hit it to the hole on my left. Then I'll play straight up only against the batters that have shown me they can hit it there. It will give up some extra base hits, but may take away from some of the flares. Creating a rover may take away some base hits but could result in more HRs. Should we assign positions to guys and that's it? I personally like being a utility play anywhere guy. It helps keep my head in the game. I'm sorry about my defense, I'm taking my offensive woes with me to the field. I hope to break out of it soon. I don't like the idea of people sitting the whole game, except occasionally when they feel like doing so. Everyone should get the chance to play half a game if they want to. I can understand if we want to stack the D against a certain team to battle for first, but not every week.

    Bush was pulled for a pitch hitter, not because of his pitching. Prince with another bomb. ASG, here he comes. And I started to get excited again after yesterday's win. I'm back to the edge of the cliff.

    Give Corey a decent sample of ABs, and I think you may have your high OBP guy. I said Corey's history of hitting attracts the Saber guys. I should have said Corey's OBP attracts the Saber guys. I had meant hitting in the general, what he does at the plate way, but it was read as literal hitting.

    If Weeks was benched and TGJ didn't play who would leadoff? The fastest guy on the team? That should please the "traditionalists". The young stud that has a history in the minors of hitting? That should please the "Sabermetrics". The hottest hitter? That should please "The Others". How about the guy that fits all 3 categories?

    ezBoard was down? I thought Braun playing in his first game caused a massive hit count to Bf.net and that's why it was down.

    Here is the only thing I want to see from the lineup: Graffy: bench Counsell: bench If I see that, I'll be happy. I don't think the specific order means as much as people make it out to be.

    C'mon. Why is everyone upset? Just because we've made 5 errors in 3 innings and our pitcher is hitting better than two of our IF? We can work our way out of this.

    If you were going to make a move in there, you should have pitch hit for Graffy. I'd take a Gwynn, Jenks, or Gross against a lefty than Graffy against a little leaguer. You can then switch Counsell into the spot later and hope there isn't a lefty up the next time he comes in.
