    They just said on the pre-game TV show that Gross will start 3-4 games a week and Hart will (finally) start the other ones.

    Some leagues are social, some are competitive. They want good teams and players in the competitive leagues, anyone is invited to join a social league. Things are still very competitive in the social leagues, but it allows for "non-serious" players to join.

    I'm already in a M/W at Sijan, so I can only play T/T. Infield for me please. I think that for Fall Ball I'd like to see how it works to have 10 guys field the whole game and the remainder of the team DH the whole game. I think this stinks for the DH's at the games.

    In Cudahy it's raining pretty hard, but the Thunder is worse. I can't believe we are going to play in this thunder.

    Hey, at least now I can say I walked enough guys at Bf.net softball to qualify to come out of the pen for the Milwaukee Brewers. BOOOOOOO. I'm off the bandwagon for the year.

    My worst game of the year...0-3 with an error. I sucked. Way better than my Steve Sax/Rick Ankiel impersonation. I'll try to clear my head for next week.

    Went to the Brewers website to watch the game. I didn't watch or listen to it. I just about spit out my dinner when I read this: "Davis got the start and worked 6 1/3 innings for the Brewers, and scheduled Saturday starter Dave Bush made a surprise relief appearance in the seventh and eighth" What does that tell you about our bullpen? The offence does not shutdown after scoring 6 runs, especially when you average under 5.

    Update to the CSFLBA World Series: Astros sweep the White Sox I will be playing on Thursday, since there are no more games left. We're not Daisy Chaining anymore?

    Here's why I don't like the linup: You could have had your Ace go against a journeyman pitcher last night. Instead, you save him to go against their Ace. I have no faith in the Brewers to hit their Ace. To then use 2 backups in the game blows me away.

    I don't like it. I see the Brewers striking out 12 times and only hitting 2 FB outs to the outfielders on their way to getting shut out on Saturday. Why use your Ace for that game?

    Air Outs (Fly Outs plus Pop Outs). I suggested that at the chat. Especially since there is a GO/AO ratio.

    The one at 3rd was ok, for it took two perfect throws to just get him. The guy who tried to take second was just hoping that the RF didn't have the ability to throw it all the way to the infield.

    I don't think it was that tough of a strike zone. That ump is very good, my favorite ump. The other team just couldn't throw a strike. He was calling some balls on me just to be fair to the other team. The ump also umps my Tuesday night and my Fall leagues.

    I'll do it. I already play on a Mon/Wed league, though, so it will have to be on different days for me to play.

    That was AJOHNSON104 to Robin19. Dude #3 (along with a lot of other people) that the flyout was the 3rd out. He was between 3rd and home when I yelled for the ball. I chased him down the line towards home and tagged him right before he got there. I remember because I went diving head first into the dirt to apply the tag. After I got to the bench I realized all we had to do was touch 2nd. Here is a link to what I looked like around midnight on Thursday. By saturday it didn't hurt anymore unless I pressed it.

    Nullbyte, we can try that, but teams will start hitting them down the RF line or between RC and LC. I'd rather be burned by the seeing eye singles than the watch-em-rolls to parts of the field with no defenders.
