I bet if Bos or NY had been in first and Bal/TB/Tor had grabbed 3 pitchers we would have seen Manfred quash the deal. -
I started posting them in the Brewers Optimism thread because I didn't want to be the one to start a thread and cause a jinx. But I do feel better after yesterday's win.

The catcher was standing on the first base line. There was nothing for Wiemer to do. So he jogged over and had a joke with the catcher. About the same as if he just turned around and went back to the dugout.

I wish they would do this for every game. No announcers and no graphics. Just straight baseball. And now it's ruined.

I was looking at his BR page and noticed his middle name is Ryan. That would make his full name Nolan Ryan Schanuel.

I went to Wikipedia to compile the Milwaukee All Star Record. The Brewers are 14-38-1. The franchise is 14-39-1. Just counting Milwaukee baseball teams the record is 25-43-2. Milwaukee is 1-1-1 at home if you include the 12th inning win in 1955. While looking this up I noticed the 2024 ASG will be at Globe Life Field and the 2026 ASG will be at Citizen's Bank Park. I thought it was really odd that they scheduled the '26 game without scheduling the '25 game. And CBP is built so it isn't an issue of waiting for construction. I read the citation and got reminded that 2026 will be the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. So pretty cool that MLB planned that out.

I have no kids and love my Switch. I play it more than the Xbox or PS4. I can play it on the big screen or pop it out into handheld mode when the wife or I want to watch something else on the TV as well. It helps that I was always a Mario and Animal Crossing fan. I played it so much my wife asked for one last March so she could have her own Animal Crossing town.

It depends on how long you plan on staying. If you are planning on quitting this summer, is different than staying there for another 2+ years. Try being honest with them on how long you planning on staying. They may let you have the job back temporarily while they look for a more "permanent" employee. It will get someone to do the job while they are searching and they wouldn't have to train you.
