  1. I'm shocked Solar stayed in the game. He had reason to be mad about today's calls.
  2. That is one instance you don't mind the out at home. If they turn two the inning was over.
  3. Great job offence in getting back into this game.
  4. He's a #3. The team just likes to act like he's an ace.
  5. "He hung that pitch a little too high. It almost bounced in the dirt." Great analysis by. But way to pick up William and Willy.
  6. I was wondering how long it would take for a new thread to start up.
  7. Be positive. We look terrible but still get a new post!
  8. I remember watching the Brewers teams in the early 2000s. They were bad and hadn't seen playoffs in decades. They couldn't even play .500 ball for over a decade. At the same time Braves fans were complaining that Atlanta could win the East every year but couldn't do anything in the playoffs. I thought to myself that I would be happy to win my division every year even with no playoff success. I keep having to remember my younger self. It sucks to never have a trophy but we have to enjoy what we do have. I believe the Brewers are working on never having an extended "be bad to rebuild" again and I can appreciate that.
  9. I was expecting 4 wins in this three game series.
  10. Pirates and Cardinals lose. Here's a little nod to Brock.
  11. Arizona held off the Pirates 9th inning rally.
  12. Murphy loves the L/R matchups but doesn't put in a lefty when they bring in a RHP with runners on base.
  13. No. He gets to 2 strikes and it looks like he starts hoping for a walk.
  14. The X from McCalvy posted 6 messages up show him with a Brewers hat in what appears to be the Brewers clubhouse. I imagine he is available for Sunday but just wasn't used. Players do have 72 hours before they have to report to the new team. Or maybe he was just using that time to get him/his family situated for moving to a new home on Sun.
  15. With his D starting to have holes, can we give Contreras a couple of days off? And now Turang with a not great throw home.
  16. I do as well. And early inning walks. Not too fond of mid inning walks either.
  17. Yeah, the Nats have given up runs twice after they scored runs. It's a problem. Both teams have done it. It doesn't seem to matter when the runs are given back, as long as you allow less runs than you score by the end of nine innings.
  18. Yeah, I kind of hope Contreras only gets one at bat so he can get some rest. Hopefully they can come out of the break as hot as they started the year.
